On November 7, FREP and Quangang District Government held a joint meeting.

The company management, Joost Emmen, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Lin Xu and Zhao Tianxing, discussed the coordination between the enterprise and local government with Liang Binghui, secretary of Quangang District Party Committee, and Yan Chaohui, the District Director.

President Joost Emmen thanked Quangang District Party Committee and Quangang District Government for their supports to the company. He said that the district Party committee and the district government gave priority to the needs of FREP, with whole process follow-ups and handling of issues; some long-term potential hazards affecting the company's production safety had been solved, providing a good environment for the development of the company.

He expressed that FREP has always attached great importance to the communication with local government, ensure production safety, and continuously drive forward project construction, give back the support of local government with good performance, and realize coordinated development of enterprise and locality.

Liang Binghui thanked FREP for its support and contribution to the development of Quangang District over the years. He commented that FREP and Quangang District have strong interdependence as FREP is a pillar enterprise in Quangang District, and Quangang District’s development benefits from petrochemical industry. Quangang District Party Committee and Quangang District Government would support the development of FREP as always, provide better conditions for enterprises, and drive project construction to facilitate local economic growth. He put forward three requirements, i.e. realize common development, we’re family and treat each other with sincerity.

At the meeting, the two sides communicated and coordinated production safety, project construction, master plan, enterprise and locality co-construction and other topics.
