The Company Convened Management Forum


In the afternoon of August 12 and August 15, following the requirement of the Company Party Committee, the company held respectively forums of department general managers and deputy general managers (Chinese) and business team managers, mainly to understand the attitudes and approaches on the topics such as ideological style, leadership, execution, cross-functional cooperation and profit improvement. The company had in-depth understanding of the ideological trends of the employees by means of group discussion.

Yang Hongbin, Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee, Secretary of the Company Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of Company Labor Union, attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Li Gang, Director of P&U Department.

Yang Hongbin commented that this survey activity was led and responsible by P&U Department under the leadership of the Company Party Committee, and should adhere to seeking truth from facts, really go deep into reality, listen to everyone telling the truth and talking about the truth, and strive to understand the real ideological situation, the potential ideological clues and the deep-seated problems. The survey should be combined with the current theme education rectification and implementation and the overall situation of company development, so as to lay a solid ideological foundation for driving the rectification and implementation, solving practical problems and promoting the high-quality development of the company in the new era. The survey should observe disciplines and pay attention to method, with a survey report as deliverable and submit to the Company Party Committee.

The representative present at the meeting, focusing on the topics such as ideological style, leadership, execution, cross-functional cooperation and profit improvement, and combing with the theme education and their actual work, turned blade inward, looked for deficiencies, examined and reflected on the deficiencies, found out the problems, analyze root causes, and put forward clear striving direction and improvement measures to effectively solve the problems. They further improved their ideological understanding, enhanced their sense of responsibility and initiative to better serve and secure the overall situation of company development.

They expressed that the survey adopted the forms of group discussion, individual interviews and questionnaire, which were down-to-earth and practical approaches, it not only unblocked the communication channels between the superior and subordinate, but also straightened the morale of the employees. Everyone must actively cooperate in the survey, telling the truth and talking about the truth to allow the survey group to understand the real situation, improve effectiveness of the survey, effectively enhance the pertinence of ideological and political work, further gather consensus and strength, and better drive the high-quality development of the company in the new era.

The company will hold forums with engineers, technical personnel, frontline shift leads and other employee representatives in the next two weeks, and carry out survey on topics such as ideological style, production safety, profit pressure and future development by means of individual interview, online questionnaire and other forms, then develop a survey report and submit to Company Party Committee.
