In the afternoon of June 25, Mr. Xu Tao, deputy general manager of Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales Co., Ltd., visitedthe Companyfor fuel oil business exchanges. Vice president Mr. Zhao Tianxing attended the business exchange meeting.

Mr. Xu Tao introduced the basic operations of the fuel oil company. He said that the fuel oil company was mainly engaged in the sales of fuel oil, and strongly supported the production of low-sulfur heavy marine fuel oil. Meanwhile, the fuel oil company proactively promoted green development of global shipping business, and contributed to the blue-sky action plan. He expressed that at the advent of sulfur restraining order of International Maritime Organization (IMO) in 2020, the global demand for low-sulfur heavy marine fuel oil was increasing. Sinopec had made corresponding arrangements according to the market changes. It was expected that the production capacityof low-sulfur heavy marine fuel oil would greatly increase.

Mr. Zhao Tianxing welcomed Mr. Xu Tao and his delegation. He introduced the Company’s organizational structure and development in recent years, and analyzed the production of low-sulfur heavy fuel oil in terms of crude oil selection, production process optimization and economic feasibility.

At the meeting, the two sides also reviewed and summarized the cooperation in fuel oil business, and exchanged views on domestic trade fuel oil production, raw material supply and general trade export tax rebate.

Mr. Zhang Yu, deputy manager of the domestic business center of Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales Co., Ltd. shared the publicity video forthe company’s 9^th anniversary. He reviewed the company’s establishment from the beginning and its specialization developmentpath to provide service to marine fuel oil market.
