On the afternoon of March 2, FREP Scholarship Award Ceremony and Recruitment Promotion meeting were held at China University of Petroleum (East China).

Chen Wenjun, Director of the Student Employment Guidance Center at China University of Petroleum (East China), thanked FREP for its strong support to education and talents. He commented that the support from enterprises was important for the development of the university. FREP attached great importance to education and talents, and the university would continuously strengthen and further cooperation with FREP in the fields like scientific research, teaching and talent training to achieve win-win results of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and common development" of the university and FREP.

Yuan Huadong, General Manager of Human Resources &Administration Department of the Company, commented that the scholarship was to stimulate trainees to study hard and contribute to the petrochemical industry of China. China University of Petroleum (East China) and FREP shared the same goal and maintained in-depth friendship and good cooperation over the years. FREP witnessed many excellent students graduated from China University of Petroleum (East China) grew up and became talents in FREP, and looked forward to more and more students of China University of Petroleum (East China) joining FREP.

At the award ceremony, He Yong'an, a graduate of China University of Petroleum (East China) in 2007 and now PCL of Aromatics Business Team of FREP, announced the scholarship winners. The university and the Company jointly awarded the scholarships to a total of 15 students of the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Materials Science and Engineering and New Energy School of China University of Petroleum (East China).

After the award ceremony, FREP held spring recruitment promotion of 2023, and relevant personnel of the Company had in-depth communication with students of China University of Petroleum (East China) and interviewed the students with CV on the scene.

The "FREP Scholarship" was established by the Company in 2020, aiming at encouraging students and groups who have enthusiasm for petrochemical industry and are interested in study and scientific research in the petrochemical field.
