The Leaders of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology Visited the Company
On April 20, Vice President Lin Xu of the Company met with the delegation led by Li Weimin, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology, and Chen Longbiao, a Standing Committee member of the Party Committee and Director of Organization Department.
Lin Xu briefly introduced the Company's development history, business layout and social contributions. He expressed gratitude to Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology for their talent and intellectual support for the construction and development of FREP. At present, China attached great importance to energy development and security. FREP has formulated a company development strategy and the "14th Five-Year Plan" in accordance with national requirements, and needed talents in petrochemical area to boost the development of the Company. Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology had strong educational strength, and furthering joint construction of the university and the Company would play an important and positive role in furthering cooperation in talent fostering.
Li Weimin and Chen Longbiao respectively introduced the organizational structure, discipline characteristics, student training and employment, teachers, scientific research and equipment of the university. They commented that the 20th CPC National Congress has put forward a major strategic requirement to promote education, technologies and talents simultaneously, and both the University and the Company would have better development and greater cooperation opportunities. The University would fully leverage the advantages of talents, disciplines and the platform, further strengthen the technical and talent cooperation between the University and the Company, and jointly create new driving forces and advantages for development.
The management personnel of Human Resources &Administration Department and Business Team managers of the Company, and alumni of Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology also attended the meeting. (Xiao Wanyuan)
