The Company Held a Mid-Term Review and Report Meeting on Personal Efficiency Improvement Project


On the afternoon of August 31, the mid-term review and report meeting on personal efficiency improvement project of the company was held in the exhibition hall. Company management Zhao Tianxing, Lin Xu and Neo Ee Ee attended the meeting.

Vice President Zhao Tianxing commented in his mobilization speech that the company's vision was to be a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness, which required an efficient and active organization, and the organization was composed of employees. Trainees participating in the training were mainly youth employees, who were the driving force for the company’s development. He hoped that after training, while improving ability, the trainees could cultivate an efficient thinking system, put forward suggestions, summarize experience, actively promote and contribute to the company’s development.

Combining knowledge and skills learned in the training with the issues identified in practical work, 6 representatives from different departments and Business Teams reported their learning, experience, practice and insights in the past year, focusing on growth analysis, experience accumulation, growth planning for the next stage etc. with rich and detailed cases.

At the meeting, the trainees went up on the stage in turn to present reports with characteristics and highlights, and the judges made accurate comments and in-depth analysis. They applauded often and the atmosphere on the scene was lively.

After fierce competition, the result was released. Lin Weiling from Supply & Distribution Department, the representative of Endeavour Class 2, won the first prize;

Meng Lingyan from Utilities Business Team, the representative of Sail Class 2, and Fan Chengde from Technical & Planning Department, the representative of Endeavour Class 1, won the second prizes;

Fu Xingwang from Fuels-1 Business Team, the representative of Pathfinder Class 1, Xie Ruiwen from Process Department, the representative of Pathfinder Class 2, and Qin Qingling from PO Business Team, the representative of Sail Class 1, won the third prizes.

Vice President Lin Xu made a concluding speech. He firstly thanked the trainees for their great reports and the achievements they made in the training. He said that the reporting materials were well prepared, with rich contents and down to earth by combing cases and work practices. The trainees were confident, expressed themselves clearly and lively, and fully presented their gains in this training. He hoped the trainees would continue to be open-minded to learn knowledge and apply learning in their work and life, and grow together with the company.

In total 220 trainees from different departments and Business Teams participated in the personal efficiency improvement project. They were divided into 6 training classes by posts and working time. Till end-August, 22 sessions on structured thinking, time management, effective communication skills and office had been completed.
