The Company Held the Mid-Year Work Conference of 2021


On August 18 and 19, the company held the mid-year work conference of 2021 in two sessions in Quanzhou/ Quangang via tele-conference.

The company management Zhao Tianxing, Lin Xu, Yang Fei and Neo Ee Ee attended the meeting.

Zhao Tianxing and Lin Xu, Vice Presidents of the company, made work reports. In the reports, they reviewed HSE performance, and shared the company's operation performance from January to July this year in terms of reliability, optimization, sales and marketing and cost reduction, commented on existing issues and gaps, analyzed the current situation, and deployed work focuses in the next stage.

They required that, first, we must keep working on safety and environmental protection to ensure safety and stability all the time. Second, we should strictly, carefully and practically prevent and control the pandemic. Third, we should keep working on reliability to ensure safe and stable operation of the units. Fourth, we should make good preparation to ensure safe, high-quality and efficient completion of 2021 TA/revamp. Fifth, we should keep working on difficulties in development to ensure that the feasibility study of the Steam Cracker and Downstream Derivatives Project is completed and approved by shareholders. Sixth, we should keep working on creating profit and make new achievements in higher production and better profits.

They stressed that we should give priority to safety, undertake responsibilities bravely, seize opportunities and the favorable momentum, and achieve a good start in the 14th Five-Year Plan period up to high quality.

At the meeting, Madam Neo Ee Ee, the Vice President of the new term of the company management, introduced herself. She said: although I am a secondee of ExxonMobil, I am a member of the big family of FREP since I joined the Company. I share the common goal of FREP and will make unremitting efforts for it i.e. safety, reliability and profitability. In future, we will meet often and I hope we can help each other and learn from each other.

In the interaction session, management of the company and relevant departments answered the questions concerned by the employees, such as the progress and staffing of the Steam Cracker Expansion Project, recruitment and training of new employees, employee promotion system, quality control of TA construction personnel.
