The Company Held the Post Skill Competition of "Fitter, Electrician and Instrument”


In the morning of December 18, the post skill competition of "fitter, electrician and instrument" of the company was opened in the company's staff skill training base.

Jiang Yongqing, Vice Chairman of Quanzhou Federation of Labor Unions, Liu Gang, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Quangang District Committee and chairman of the District Federation of Labor Unions, Joost Emmen, President of the company, Hu Hongye, Deputy General Manager of FPCL, and Zhao Tianxing, Vice President of the company, attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Li Gang, Director of the Party & Union Department of the company.

At the meeting, on behalf of the company, Joost Emmen thanked the leaders of the municipal and district Federation of Labor Unions for their presence, and affirmed this skill competition organized by the Labor Union of the company. He said that post skill competition was of great significance. It was not only a test of the skills of the employees, but also a catalyst for the company to improve the skill training mechanism, encourage and guide the development of youth employees.

He commented that FREP was continuously growing and had a bright future, which provided excellent chances for youth employees. He hoped that all would keep learning, continuously improve their comprehensive competence, integrate personal growth into the development of the company, and drive the company toward the direction of higher quality, efficiency and sustainability.

In the end, he encouraged everyone to participate in the competition with a good condition and enjoy the fruits of teamwork, and wished the competition safe and successful.

Zhao Tianxing expressed congratulations on the opening of the skill competition. He put forward three requirements: first, carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship and establish a reliable workforce; second, the seniors should coach the juniors to pass on excellent expertise and good work style to youth employees; third, build the Model Worker Innovation Studio to a base to tackle difficult issues and contribute to the development of the company.

At the meeting, Yuan Huadong, General Manager of HR & Admin Department, read out the skill competition document, and Li Ji, General Manager of Mechanical Department, read out the proposal.

Yang Pengfei, Deputy General Manager of Mechanical Department and chief judge of the competition, read out the rules of the competition, and Liu Qianhong of the instrument group of Mechanical Department made a speech on behalf of the participants.

Hu Hongye announced the start of the competition.

After the meeting, the management at the meeting jointly unveiled "FREP Staff Skill Training Base" and went to the competition site to observe and provide guidance.

The purpose of this competition is to facilitate practice and provide training to employees by means of competition, improve the practical skills of the employees, stimulate the enthusiasm of the employees to learn skills and study technology, and better serve the production. At the same time, through skill competition, encourage the competitors to become role models of their posts and show their competitiveness.

In this competition, there were first, second and third prizes for groups and individuals of four types of work, i.e., fitter, electrical maintenance, electrical operation and instrument maintenance. The competition consisted of both practical operations and theoretical examinations, and each weight 50% in the comprehensive score for determining the final ranking. (Zhang Lei)
