ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Operation Manager Mr. Fernando G. Salazar Visited the Company


On September 5, Mr. Fernando G. Salazar, ExxonMobil Asia-Pacific Operation Manager, visited FREP accompanied by Mr. Ho Yuen Chuan, ExxonMobil Asia-Pacific Production safety and risk management manager. President Joost Emmen and Vice President Lin Xu met with Mr. Fernando G. Salazar and his delegation and had a friendly discussion. Mak Chee Wah, General Manager of HSE Department attended the meeting.

President Joost Emmen welcomed Mr. Fernando G. Salazar, and briefly introduced the overall situation of the company's production and operation 2019 YTD with focus on safety, environmental protection, reliability, profit and people.

President Joost Emmen commented that upon the poor performance in the first quarter of 2019, Office of President and all employees worked together to overcome difficulties, and the indicators in the second quarter were gradually improved; in the third and fourth quarters, the company would continue to work hard on safety and environmental protection, truly change behaviors, formulate and implement personal safety plans, and further grasp margin improvement opportunities to strive for the annual targets.

President Joost Emmen said that at present, with the increasing market competition and higher standards of safety and environmental protection, FREP is faced with more challenges; the company management had been working on future development, and hoped that the shareholders could provide more support and help to the development of the company.

Lin Xu introduced the master plan of the company, and explained the current business climate and the overall strategy of the master plan.

Mak Chee Wah reported the safety improvement plan company's, and introduced the objectives and main focus areas in the plan, as well as the "I want safety" action team and the safety improvement plan.

The two parties had in-depth exchanges on production and operation, safety and environmental protection, market situation, master plan and other topics.

In the afternoon, Mr. Fernando G. Salazar and his delegation also visited the exhibition hall of the company, the new central control room, polyolefin products packaging line and EOEG unit. (Xiao Wanyuan, Liu Ting)
