On September 4, Fu Xiangsheng, Vice President of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, visited our company for research and had a discussion meeting with President Joost Emmen, Vice President Lin Xu and relevant management personnel of the departments of our company.

Accompanied by Lin Xu, Fu Xiangsheng visited the exhibition hall and listened to the introduction of the company's production units and scale, process flow and development plan. He highly recognized FREP development positioning.

At the meeting, President Joost Emmen first welcomed Fu Xiangsheng to lead the research group of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation to FREP for research. He said that FREP strictly abides by Chinese laws and regulations in its production, operation, construction and development, and the company’s vision is to become a world-class petrochemical company with sustained competitiveness, a responsible corporate citizen and live in harmony with the community. The company has good development conditions and opportunities, strong support from Chinese and foreign shareholders, advantages of integrated refinery and chemical plant, and complete land and sea transportation and other logistics facilities, which are the hardware conditions for the development of the company.

President Joost Emmen commented that he attended relevant meeting of Quangang District Government two months ago. With the accelerated development of the Petrochemical Industry Park, the demand for talents is increasing, especially the introduction of high-end professionals. The development of enterprises needs talents in operation, maintenance, technical and management. Talents are the core competitiveness of enterprises and the software conditions for development. The future development of FREP needs a large number of talents, and the strong support of local government is indispensable.

Fu Xiangsheng fully affirmed the development achievements of FREP in recent years, and highly appraised FREP for optimizing feedstocks, combining the advantages of southeast coastal market, and giving full play to the advantages of integrated refining and chemical plant to extend the industrial chain. He commented that FREP had a good foundation, clear objectives and development ideas, and a strong competitiveness among domestic petrochemical enterprises. He analyzed the future development trend of domestic petrochemical industry, and put forward expectations for future development of FREP.

Fu Xiangsheng hoped that FREP to give full play to the advantages of Chinese and foreign shareholders, seize the strategic opportunities of the "Belt and Road" initiative, and proactively expand the market, be a leading company in the development of the industry, and achieve greater leap forward in the "14th Five-Year" period. He said that they would prepare a report about this research for relevant ministries and commissions as soon as possible, and make due contributions to the development of modern petrochemical industry of China in the new era.
