From March 6^th to 7^th, Mr. Xu Yuehua, deputy director of Sinopec Chemical Department, led technical experts of chemical industry to FREP for research. Vice president Mr. Lin Xu and Vice President Mr. Zhao Tianxing met with Mr. Xu Yuehua and his group, and made exchanges on the topics of concern.

After 2018 TA, to enable the chemical units to create the best profits in the years of industry boom and achieve long-term operation up to high standard, the company changed the key focus of production to operation optimization. Sinopec Chemical Department took FREP as its first stop for their research in early 2019, with technical experts from Sinopec Yanshan Co, Zhenhai Co., Maoming Co., Tianjin Co. and SINOPEC SABIC Tianjin Petrochemical Co. to FREP site to provide consultation service.

To make full use of this opportunity, relevant BTs of the company contacted the experts in advance and collected difficulties and questions of each discipline. During the two-day research, BT management, process engineers and reliability engineers participated in the group discussion, consulted solutions against difficult problems and learnt best practices of the industry. The experts also visited CCR, processing site, checked parameters and exchanged experience.

After the discussion and site research, the experts group put forward several specific solutions to current unit operation situation. Relevant BTs understood and implemented the comments of the experts in a timely manner.

The visit of the research team was not only a diagnosis, but also a test to the operation management of chemical units of the company. Relevant BTs would implement the comments of the experts, take actions against the gaps, thus to realize high standard and long-term optimal operation of the units. (Wang Jun)
