In the morning of November 27^th, sponsored by the Fujian Federation of Trade Unions and undertaken by FREP, the “Abiding by Law, Building Dreams Hand in Hand” public benefit legal service in petrochemical enterprises was organized to provide legal consultation and service for the employees and maintenance personnel of the Company.

At the site, the legal staff provided legal lectures and consultation service to the participants. In response to the key topics such as labor protection, social security and social welfare, the lawyers explained the legal provisions in concise language, and guided the participants to strengthen the awareness of Constitution and rule of law, and safeguard their rights by law. The experts patiently answered questions, and every participant listened and inquired in detail. With good interaction and exchanges, there was a warm and harmonious atmosphere at the site of the activity.

During the activity, the working staff distributed legal publicity materials such as the Constitution of the People's Republic of China, the Micro-Handbook of Legal Protection of Rights and Interests, and the Micro-Handbook of Legal Knowledge for Women Workers' Rights and Interests.

It was during the turnaround while nearly 10,000 maintenance personnel from all places of the country gathered in FREP. This public benefit legal service action further improved the legal aid knowledge of employees and maintenance personnel, and enhanced right-protection awareness of the laborers. The importance of legal rights protection was recognized. It created a good rule of law atmosphere and social environment for proactively solving social contradictions, maintaining social harmony and stability, and realized good social benefits.
