On November 22^nd, Mr. Guan Zemin, the general manager of SINOPEC-SK, led a group of 7 persons, visited the Company. President Mr. Joost Emmen, vice president Mr. Lin Xu warmly welcomed Mr. Guan Zemin and his team and had a friendly discussion.

Mr. Joost Emmen welcomed Mr. Guan Zemin and his team. He said that achieving safety targets and improving safety performance were the common objectives of all petrochemical companies. SINOPEC-SK and FREP were both under Sino-foreign joint operations and both committed to bringing together the best practices of Chinese and foreign shareholders to form the HSSE characteristics of the companies. At present, despite the challenges, there were more advantages. We should not only focus on self-improvement, but also strengthen exchanges with sister companies to share good experiences for better safety performance.

Mr. Guan Zemin first briefed the general situation of SINOPEC-SK. He commented that SINOPEC-SK was currently at a new stage of development and was faced with many challenges. This visit to FREP is for learning from FREP’s good experience in safety management of production, operation, turnaround and revamping work.

During the discussions, both parties proactively had in-depth exchanges on turnaround contractor management, direct operation safety and security etc.
