Co-create, Share and Win-win--The Company held 2018 Chemical Customers Business Meeting


On September 13th, the Company held 2018 chemical customer communication meeting to strengthen communications with customers, review the cooperation results achieved in the past year, and conduct in-depth exchanges on strategic cooperation for strengthening mutual benefits and win-win in the future.

President Mr. Joost Emmen, vice presidents Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Mr. Lin Xu were present at the meeting. The responsible persons of M&S Dept., FIN Dept., S&D Dept. and T&P Dept. and more than 80 customer representatives invited attended the meeting.

Mr. Joost Emmen delivered a speech at the meeting. He said that in the past year, the domestic and international markets had been changing. In the face of challenges, the Company actively responded, flexibly adjusted its strategies and adhered to the concept of “one team, one goal” and achieved good performance and realized “three firsts”: first shareholders dividends, first jet fuel export and first naphtha import. The Company's annual ethylene production also cut the record. The achievements are inseparable from the care and support of every customer. I firmly believe that as long as we work together and side by side, we will definitely promote the mutual growth of both companies and move towards a new glory. He expected that the meeting could provide a platform for both sides to exchange ideas and discuss more opportunities for cooperation.

Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf extended gratitude to all customers and friends for attending the meeting and for their care and support to the Company in the past year. In the past year, the Company achieved better performance with the support of customers, and achieved the first shipment of cracking C9 product. The total sales volume of self-marketing products was increased by 68%. He said that the Company attached great importance to product quality and service to customers, and was committed to building trust with customers for a long-term relationship. The Company would review each recommendation collected from the customer satisfaction survey and develop action plan targeting to improve customer experience and reward the trust of each customer with practical actions.

Mr. Lin Xu appreciated all customers for their long-term support for the Company's development. He said that FREP had gone through 11 years since its establishment. Now the Company's refining and chemical production capacity ranked among the top in domestic refining and chemical enterprises. The advantages of refining and chemical integration were obvious, and the space for product structure adjustment was large. As overall competitiveness was increasing year by year, the Company expected to work together with customers for co-create, sharing and win-win.

Customer representative Mr. Zhu Shunlin, vice president of Shuangliang Group Co., Ltd. shared the cooperation process between Shuangliang Group and FREP. He said that this was the eleventh year of cooperation between Shuangliang Group and FREP. Over very long eleven years, both sides understood and sincerely communicated with each other, established family-like cooperative relations from strangers to bosom friends. And eleven years are very short. In face of complex and ever-changing market competition, Shuangliang Group and FREP would continue in-depth cooperation, work and develop together for a better tomorrow.

Customer representative and General Manager of Shenhua Chemical, Mr. Jiang Chaoyang clearly remembered that on September 21st, 2009, the freighter loaded with FREP’s 2 KT butadiene products docked at Shenhua Terminal, starting the cooperation between Shenhua and FREP. He said that in the past ten years of cooperation, no matter how the market changed, the trust between the two sides had remained unchanged. He expected that FREP would provide more support in future cooperation, work and develop together with Shenhua.

During the meeting, Company management and responsible persons from relevant departments communicated with the customers on specific cooperation matters over the past year, and provided detailed explanation to the customers referring to the main focus in 2018 customer satisfaction survey, and gave timely feedback to the comments of customers.

It was reported that the customers representatives came from over 30 companies in Fujian, Zhejiang, Shanghai and other places, with business covering the Company's major chemical products such as butadiene, para-xylene, pure benzene, C5, C9, ethylene oxide, ethylene glycol etc. (Xue Wen)
