“The old days’ suits and trousers, the moon surrounded by myriad of stars…today’s coarse prison clothes, high walls and iron windows… two worlds: heaven and hell. As sons, they could not practice filial piety; as fathers, they could not take care of their children; as husbands, they could not perform their responsibility… at this moment, they deeply understand the value of freedom, and it is regrettable...” The deep remorse of prisoners strongly shocked every Party member and cadre who participated in the warning education.

In order to further build up the ideological defense for Party members and cadres to resist corruption, and further promote their sense of honesty, in the morning of July 13^th, guided by the management of FPCL and FREP Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Madam Li Siyang and Mr. Zhao Tianxing, a total of more than 170 persons including the secretaries of grassroots Party general branch and Party branch of FPCL/ FREP, supervisors and above in key areas/ positions of three joint ventures and two restructured units went to Quanzhou Prison to receive an informative and profound anti-corruption warning education.

During the activity, accompanied by the prison police, they watched the feature film “Life behind the High Walls”, and listened to two prisoners who deeply regretted how they descended from Party members to prisoners. Looking at the closed gate of the prison, the thick high walls and the towering guard posts, heard how the prisoners had their outlook on life and values off-track, gradually turned to crime, descended from leaders and cadres to corrupters, and lost freedom, dignity and privacy after served the sentence, and brought serious consequences to their families, everyone was deeply shocked.

Those who received the warning education said, “The prisoners’ confession and remorse echoed in their ears, and their words revealed their regret for being greed, their guilty for their organizations and families and their desire for freedom, which really raised an alarm for us. In the future work, we would caution ourselves and earnestly implement the principle of self-cultivation, use power in a strict self-discipline way...”

The warning education is one of the “5+1” activities of the Company's Anti-corruption Education Month. By letting Party members and cadres listen to the prisoners’ deep regrets about their illegal crimes and mental journey in a way of fact to face, the Party members and cadres are urged to respect organizations and discipline, adhere to the bottom line, check erroneous ideas at the outset, strive to create a first-class political ecology with clean, honest and enterprising spirit, and promote the Company's high-quality development in the new era.
