On June 12^th, The Company and Quanzhou Energy Saving Office jointly held the opening ceremony of 2018 Energy Saving Publicity Week and Low Carbon Day Event in the plant. Company management Mr. Yang Hongbin and Mr. Lin Xu, deputy director of Quanzhou Energy Saving Office Mr. Wang Chunyang, and Deputy Director of Quangang District Government Mr. Chen Qingyong were present at the event and delivered speeches.

From June 11^th to June 17^th, it was China energy saving publicity week, themed on “energy saving take the lead in green development”. The theme of the national low-carbon day is “Green development, low-carbon innovation”.

Mr. Wang Chunyang introduced at the opening ceremony that the Energy Saving Publicity Week and the Low Carbon Day were important platforms for energy saving and response to climate change across the country. It was necessary to raise awareness of energy saving in all walks of life. Quanzhou was a city with energy shortage but high energy consumption. It was everyone's responsibility and obligation to perform energy-saving and emission reduction. He hoped that people would act together to firmly establish the idea that saving energy was everyone’s responsibility in their respective jobs and family life. We shall start from ourselves and the trivial to make due contribution to the development of Quanzhou aiming at “innovation, intelligent manufacturing, maritime silk road, beauty and happiness”.

Mr. Yang Hongbin commented that in recent years, the Company has been earnestly implementing the spirit of the key speeches of the General Secretary Xi Jinping, adhering to the concept of “Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.” and respecting the nature, holding the nature in awe and protecting environment by abiding by the theme of ecological civilization. He emphasized that all departments and units in the Company shall constantly explore new ideas, take innovative approach, enhance publicity, and widely mobilize the initiative and creativity of the employees and the masses, and guide all employees to participate in energy saving and consumption reduction, practice low-carbon life and share the blue sky, and make contributions to building “a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness”.

Mr. Lin Xu delivered a speech and announced the launch of the energy saving week. He said that FREP was the leading enterprise in 2016 national energy efficiency and had made unremitting efforts in saving energy and reducing consumption. The Company had fully tapped and used low-temperature heat and other energy-saving potential measures, so as to achieve the green development concept of “working on both major and minor energy saving opportunities”. He required that all units and all employees of the Company to fully understand the significance of energy saving and carbon reduction for the construction of ecological civilization and promotion of green development. Starting from the trivial around and own work, normalize ecological civilization, green development, energy saving and carbon reduction in our production and life.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Yang Hongbin presented to Mr. Wang Chunyang an ideas collection box of Innovative Day and jointly launched the big Fulian’s Energy-saving Golden Ideas Collection.
