The Company Launched the 2018 Leadership Improvement Program


In the morning of June 4th, the Company held the kick-off meeting of 2018 Leadership Improvement Program at the Technology Conference Hall. OOP members Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing, and the deputy secretary of Party Committee, secretary of Discipline Committee and chairman of Labor Union Mr. Yang Hongbin, attended the meeting. The Company’s management personnel attended the meeting.

Mr. Joost Emmen shared the background, goals and plans of this session of leadership program with all trainees. He said that with the increasingly severe external environment, the Company would faced with higher pressure and more challenges, all employees should work together to comprehensively improve each business area, while leadership improvement program was an important measure for internal improvement of the Company. He required that all management personnel should fully engage in the training with open mind, and use this opportunity to learn more management knowledge and apply it to daily work.

Mr. Lin Xu required that all trainees should think hard and proactively participate in leadership improvement learning. Leadership was not only the required ability for leaders, but also for everyone. We shall always keep in mind the Company’s vision, and improve the Company's competitiveness through effective cross-functional cooperation.

Mr. Zhao Tianxing pointed out that changes could only be made if the management personnel at all layers have the willing to make the changes. The success of this program depended on everyone's efforts and cooperation.

Mr. Yang Hongbin wished a great success of the Leadership Improvement Program. He hoped that all trainees would proactively change their mindsets through learning and practice, thusly respond to internal and external challenges.

Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf  raised training expectations and requirements to all management personnel. He stressed that this training requires coordination and cooperation of the entire management, combined with theoretical study and practical operation. He expressed his confidence to the expected results of the training.

Beijing HeJun Business School project team also shared the situation of the pre-survey and introduced the implementation plan and schedule of the leadership program in detail.

This session of leadership improvement program focused on 3 key areas: establishment of solution-oriented behaviors, cross-functional cooperation, empower and develop employees.

The project will adopt a combination of classroom training and after-training coaching, to help the management at all levels master the systematic approach for analyzing/ solving problems through enriching and interesting classroom learning and after-training practical coaching; Enhance the Company's cross-functional collaboration through teamwork in developing action plans for solving problems; effectively strengthen the management's empowering of employees and further promote employees’ development through the learning of coaching leadership, managers' core tasks and other courses. The program was launched in June 2018 and was scheduled till February 2019. The scope of training covers the entire management of all departments in the Company. (Xue Wen)
