April 30^th witnessed the ceremony of Saudi Aramco President Excellence Award in Dhahran, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Vice President of the Company, collected the award - Highest Improvement in HSE in 2017 on behalf of FREP. This is the first time that the Company won this award since JV formation. It represents the recognition of the shareholder on FREP’s production and management in 2017, the performance in HSE in particular. Mr. Lin Bin, the Deputy General Manager in HSE Department, accompanied and attended the award ceremony.

In 2017, the Company HSE indexes reached a record high. Winning this award not only marks the encouragement from shareholder to the years HSE accomplishments, but also a higher expectation to the Company production, operation and management. Only with more efforts and in endless pursuit of excellence can FREP become a world-class petrochemical company.

It is truly believed that the Company will definitely step up further with the right guidance of Company management and concerted efforts of all employees. That further requires that the Company should constantly attach great importance to safety and environmental protection and the continuity of HSE management. Meanwhile the Company should promote the concept of “All incidents are preventable”, dedicate to achieve “zero incident, zero injury and zero pollution” in HSE performance, and step to a new level in the Company production and operation.

The Saudi Aramco President Excellence Award, rated on an annual basis, is intended for refining and/ or chemical joint ventures or subsidiaries which perform exceptionally in the areas of HSE, management efficiency etc. Total 12 joint ventures participated in the rating in 2017, while only 4 won the awards.
