On November 10^th, Mr. Mohammad Shahrani, the President of Saudi Aramco and joint venture coordinator of Excellence Award Judges’ Panel, and another 3 guests visited FREP. The Company’s Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Operation General Manager Mr. Zhao Tianxing met and had friendly talks with Mr. Mohammad Shahrani.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, on behalf of the Company, welcomed Mr. Mohammad Shahrani and his companies to FREP. He said that in recent years, the Company had been improving the Company’s production and operation levels in accordance with the board’s decisions and deployment, and had achieved good performance in reliability, safety and environmental protection, gross profit ,etc. Especially the Company was awarded the “2016 Chemical Profit Winner” by Sinopec, which greatly encouraged the staff morale. It had been proved that the Company had the ability and confidence to achieve better performance.

Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf pointed out that FREP had undergone great changes in the past few years. And currently the company was sparing no effort for continuous optimization and better development.

Mr. Mohammad Shahrani said that it was a great honor to visit FREP and extended congratulations on the good operation performance of the Company. He said, Saudi Aramco valued FREP a lot, especially since FREP had achieved excellent performance in HSE, reliability, energy density. It had been ranking at the top group among the 12 joint ventures of Saudi Aramco. For example, FREP ranked the 2^nd in 2016 reliability rating. Therefore, it had great potential in future. Saudi Aramco hereby invited FREP for selection of “Excellent Operation Award for Presidents and CEOs in Saudi Arabia”.

And then Mr. Mohammad Shahrani briefly introduced the Award the 2016 Award Ceremony, and showed the performance and ranking of Saudi Aramco’s joint ventures in 2016. The guests from Saudi Aramco also introduced Saudi Aramco’s Safety Management System (SMS) and the Operation Excellence System (OE).

At the meeting, the two sides had in-depth exchanges on the issues of common interest.

In the afternoon, Mr. Mohammad Shahrani and his companies listened to the presentation of FREP’s excellent operation performance in 2017.

During the visit, Mr. Mohammad Shahrani and his companies, accompanied by Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and others, visited the exhibition hall and CCR2 of the Company.

It is reported that the “Excellent Operation Award for Presidents and CEOs in Saudi Arabia” is an award granted to the oil refining and chemical engineering joint ventures/subsidiaries with outstanding performance in HSE and operation efficiency.
