FREP Appointed Six Senior Talents as First Batch


In the afternoon of January 9th, FREP sponsored the First Term Senior Talents Appointment Conference at the Technology Hall to officially appoint six senior talents in professional technology and skilled operation. This symbolized a new step in the implementation of talent strengthening company strategy.

Company Management Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Joost Emmen and Mr. Yang Hongbin attended the conference and granted the certificates to the first batch of 6 senior talents.

In order to realize the vision to be a world class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness, and foster a professionalized talent team to promote the continuous improvement of performance, the company established the Guideline for Management of Senior Talents in Professional Technology and Skilled Operation in 2015. Senior talents refer to the technical and professional management persons as appointed to be expert or senior expert by the Company as well as the operating skill talents as appointed to be technician or senior technician, once the employees are appointed as senior talents, their current posts remain no change, but receive monthly allowance for senior talents from the Company.

The Company management hoped that the first batch of six senior talents as appointed would solidly perform their responsibilities and come up with constructive opinion for the development direction of their discipline and fulfill relative responsibility, take/ address the technical challenges of the discipline and be responsible for the technical proposal of the discipline. The technicians as appointed should also be responsible to solve complex operational issues in the discipline, optimize operation, and actively coach and cultivate the less experienced employees, thus to improve overall operation through drawing experience from a point and promote to an area.

HR will assist functional departments to follow up the performance of senior talents and include their performance into annual appraisal. The tenure for the first batch of senior talents is three years from January 1st, 2017 to December 31st, 2019.

The six senior talents as appointed in this time are: petrochemical equipment team expert Li Ji, petrochemical equipment team expert Chen Wenyong, petrochemical equipment team expert Lai Renman, procurement expert Tian Jianping, lab technician Sun Qingquan and APS/VPS technician Zhu Jianjun. They will exert their professional role and technical leadership to set up problem tackling subject and optimize/ tackle problems in the areas of production, equipment, process, production quality, and material procurement to make more contribution to production and operation management of the Company.
