On the afternoon of November 11, the Company held the "Dedicated Employee" Awarding Ceremony and the Speech Activity themed "Growing with the Company" in the conference hall on the third floor of Fulian Building, where the winners of the Dedicated Employee Awards and the winners of the "Production and Operation Skills Competition" were commended. With the theme of "Growing with the Company", the youth employees talked about the development, changes, achievements and touching stories of the joint venture in the past 15 years.

The scene was filled with applause and the atmosphere was heated. Company management Liu Xiangdong, Zhao Tianxing, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, Lin Xu, Yang Fei and Li Ji attended the Ceremony and presented awards to the winners. Liu Xiangdong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company, and Saleh Yahya Al Zaid, President of the Company, delivered speeches. Management personnel of relevant departments and business teams, and employee representatives of the Company participated in the activity.

As this year is the 15^th anniversary of the joint venture, to commend the employees contributed outstandingly to the Company on all fronts, the Labor Union of the Company decided to award 15 employees the honor of "Dedicated Employee". They are Zhang Honghe, Liu Yongmin, Lin Chunfa, Zhuang Rongchun, Feng Mei, Lang Shushan, Huang Liqun, Lin Zhenjie, Wang Wei, Wu Qiuyue, Xie Weidong, Huang Xiaobin, Li Lin, Huang Guifang and Mo Ping. Six employees including Lian Wennan, Huang Huiming, Lin Yimin, Liu Dan, Qiu Lanfang and Yu Wei were nominated for the award of "Dedicated Employee". The Company management Liu Xiangdong, Saleh Yahya Al Zaid and Zhao Tianxing presented awards to the winners of "Dedicated Employee".

Liu Xiangdong commented that the whole organization were learning and publicizing in depth the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress, and the Ceremony was of significant as it was a part of the series of activities to celebrate the 15^th anniversary of the joint venture, as well as an important practice to learn and implement the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress.

Liu Xiangdong required that a trend of learning and publicizing the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress shall be fostered quickly to transform the spirit into the strength of guiding practice and promoting work. It was expected that the Company to combine learning/ implementing the spirit with the key tasks of current stage and the planning of the work in next year and the following period, and earnestly implement the key tasks of the theme action of "bearing in mind the entrustment, making new contributions, creating better performance and learning and implementing the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress", focus on safe and green development and make more efforts on quality/ profitability improvement, and strive to complete the annual tasks and targets.

Liu Xiangdong stressed that the spirit of petrochemical industry was an important part of the spiritual pedigree of the CPC, the soul and foundation of petrochemical industry and our excellent cultural gene and heirloom. At present, facing a more complex external environment and more fierce market competition, we shall carry forward the spirit of petrochemical industry, inherit the tradition of petrochemical industry and practice the corporate spirit. With firm determination, resolution and attitude, we should restore confidence, take the leading position, rebuild the reputation, create new situations in the areas of production safety, operation management, project construction, and reform and development, work hard to write a new chapter of development of the refining and petrochemical integrated bases of Quangang and Gulei, and make proactive contributions to construction of a socialist modern country in all aspects.

Saleh Yahya Al Zaid commented in his speech that the employees commended were the representatives that have made great contributions to the Company on all fronts. They are lively manifest of commitment, hard-work and dedication, the spirits and virtues of the people working in petrochemical industry. With perseverance, diligence and dedication, they express love to their posts, which touches our heart. They were ordinary heroes who have been sacrificing on their posts, and they fully deserve the title of Dedicated Employees. Faced with a severe business situation, the commended employees should take the lead in keeping an enterprising spirit, remaining vigilant for work safety at all times, guarding against the pandemic, sprinting all-out for the 4^th quarter of this year, and working hard for quality and efficiency improvement and cost reduction.

Saleh Zaid required all employees to learn, understand and practice the spirit of the 20th CPC National Congress and act on the spirit of the 20^th CPC National Congress to forge ahead with enterprise and fortitude, and forge forward toward building FREP into a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.

Wu Qiuyue, a representative of the winners and the former senior engineer of Technical& Planning Department, made an acceptance speech. She said that the honor was not only a recognition to her work, but also an affirmation to the Business Analysis & Reporting Group and the business planning work. The blueprints depicted each step of gratifying development of the Company. She believed that the future of the Company would be brilliant.

At the Awarding Ceremony, the Company management Lin Xu, Yang Fei and Li Ji presented awards to the winners of the "Production and Operation Skills Competition". Ten competitors including Zhou Yao of Fuels-1 Business Team won the gold, silver and bronze prizes respectively.

After the Ceremony, a speech activity was held themed "Growing with the Company". Eight youth employees took the outstanding employees as examples, and shared the stories about the development of the Company and the growth of the employees from different perspectives, and the employees and the Company were sharing the same breath and destiny.
