In late May, a shareholders’ safety cold eye review group conducted a five-day joint safety review to the Company. The purpose of this review is to assess FREP safety leadership, review quality of incident investigation and past incident learnings, and verify field effectiveness of high risk activities.

At the summary meeting, the group affirmed the positive actions of the Company in terms of vision and strategies, directions and leadership, processes and tools, as well as positive performance in verifying energy isolation, opening of process equipment and risk assessment, pointed out key findings and made recommendations.

President Mr. Joost Emmen expressed his gratitude to the group for their hard work. He said that the management behaviors determined that of the employees. Company management should look at themselves in the mirror to reflect their own safety behaviors, and make changes in person to improve safety leadership of the whole organization starting from themselves.

The group consists of total 12 experienced experts from shareholders divided into 3 sub-groups, and conducted review through interviews and field verifications. This of the sub-group has a member from FREP “I Want Safety” team.

Against tight schedule and heavy tasks, with good cooperation of the whole organization, the shareholders’ safety cold eye review was successfully completed. (Huang Chaofeng)
