In the morning of May 16^th, the Company held the employee communication meeting of the second-quarter in Science & Technology Hall at Quangang Plant, with a parallel session set up in Quanzhou Office Building through video conference equipment.

Company management Mr. Joost Emmen, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhao Tianxing attended the meeting. General managers and deputy general managers of departments, business team managers and employee representatives participated the meeting. Vice president Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, president Mr. Joost Emmen reviewed the safety statistic data, operation performance, capacity utilization/ optimization/ margin from January to April 2019, shared the accomplishments of the Company in the first four months in 2019 in HSSE, profits, operation optimization and opex, introduced the progress of top 10 tasks, and put forward requirements and expectations to the key actions and focus in next step.

Mr. Joost Emmen commented that only good interaction between safety and reliability could ensure more stable and efficient production. In the following months, the Company would keep focusing on the top 10 tasks, pay continuous attention to safety, make efforts on safe and reliable operation, thus to achieve the annual objectives smoothly.

Vice president Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf expected that all employees would uphold the concept of “one team, one goal”, strengthen communication and cross-functional collaboration to fully play the synergy strengths of the organization, secure higher efficiency in work, and ensure safe and reliable production.

Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf thanked the employees for putting forward good opinions. The Company would make better use of this communication platform, listen to the voices of everyone, enhance the understanding between management and employees, and work together with all employees for the development of the Company.

On behalf of “I Want Safety” action team, HSE general manager Mr. Mak Chee Wah reported the progress of safety culture improvement work.
