On the afternoon of March 15^th, in the 3/F conference hall of Quanzhou office building, the staff was well-organized, and the atmosphere was solemn and warm. The slogan of “Strengthening the Root and Soul and Pulling Together as One to Provide Strong Guarantee for Quality Development in the New Era” hanging in front of the rostrum is particularly eye-catching and inspiring.

2019 Work Conference of the Company Party Committee was held ceremoniously. Members of the Party Committee and the Leading Group of the company sat on the rostrum. The conference was chaired by Mr. Liu Xiangdong, the Deputy Secretary of the Company Party Committee.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Secretary of the Company Party Committee and Chairman, made a work report on behalf of the Companty Party Committee titled Unswervingly Strengthening the Root and Soul and Pulling Together to Promote Development to Provide Guidance and Guarantee for Quality Development of the Company in the New Era.

In the report, the Company Party Committee’s work in 2018 was briefly reviewed from six aspects, including enforcing full and strict discipline over the Party, team building, Party building, improving Party conduct and building a clean management, publicity work, and harmonious enterprise construction, pointing out overall requirements of the Party Committee’s work in 2019: follow the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; implement fully the guiding principles of the 19^th CPC National Congress and the Second and the Third Plenary Sessions of its 19^th Central Committee; keep firmly in mind the need to maintain political integrity, think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignment; strengthen our confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics; resolutely uphold General Secretary Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole, and resolutely uphold the Party Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership; conscientiously implement the general requirements for Party building and the Party’s organizational line in the new era; vigorously implement the organizational strength improvement project and talent-rich enterprise project of primary Party organizations in accordance with the arrangement and deployment of the Company Party group and Fujian Provincial Committee of CPC and taking the Party’s political construction as the guide; constantly improve the quality of Party building; adhere to better serving the central task of economic development and the overall interests of the country; unite and lead all Party cadres and workers to pursue progress while ensuring stability, act responsibly, and strictly enforce the implementation; provide guidance and guarantee for quality development of the company in the new era.

In the report, key work in 2019 was arranged and deployed. First, focus on the construction of the soul-solid project to deepen the implementation of responsibility towards Party management and governance; second, focus on organizational strength improvement project to improve the work quality of Party building; third, focus on the talent-rich enterprise project to strengthen the foundation for quality talent development; fourth, improve Party conduct and enforce Party discipline to foster a sound political ecosystem featuring honesty and integrity in the Party; fifth, focus on the force focusing project to play a role in guidance and guarantee; sixth, focus on harmony creation project to maintain the overall situation of stable development.

At the conference, all employees of the company were called on to, under the correct leadership of the Company Party group and Fujian Provincial Committee of CPC, unswervingly strengthen the root and soul and pull together as one to promote development, constantly improve the quality of Party building, and effectively transform the Party’s political advantages into the enterprise’s development advantages, so as to provide correct guidance and strong guarantee for quality development of the company in the new era.

Mr. Liu Xiangdong put forward three requirements in his speech: first, promptly communicate the meeting spirits to the organization to build consensus, and unify thoughts and actions into decisions and deployments of the Company management and the Company Party Committee, and condense concerted wisdom and strength into promoting the company’s quality development in the new era; second, be confident, act responsibly, shoulder the responsibility of realizing quality development of the company in the new era, and promote faster quality development with new initiatives; third, work diligently for long time, do the best to get off to a good start, and strictly manage production safety, sustainable profit, internal management, and harmony and stability.

Mr. Duan Xiaowei, Secretary of EO/EG Party Branch and Manager of EO/EG Business Team of the company, Mr. Fu Daofeng, Chairman of the Labor Union and Secretary of the First Party Branch of Linde-FPCL Gas Company Limited and Mr. Pan Qiwen, Secretary of Fuels-1 Party Branch and Manager of Fuels-1 Business Team of the company, made exchanges and speeches respectively.

At the work conference, the Company Party Committee issued the Targets and Responsibilities Documents to the primary Party organizations and the Responsibility Document for Maintaining the Stability of Letters and Visits Work to the General Party Branches and directly subordinated Party Branches.

Nearly 140 people including the secretaries of primary General Party Branch/ Party Branch, some Party Congress representatives, and responsible persons of departments/ business teams of the company attended the work conference. (Zhang Lei)
