FPCL 4^th Party Committee member congress and FREP 2^nd Party Committee member congress was grandly held on Nov. 17. The meeting debriefed and deliberated on the work reports of last Party Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission, elected FPCL 4^th Party Committee and FREP 2^nd Party Committee, elected FPCL 4^th Discipline Inspection Commission and FREP 2^nd Discipline Inspection Commission.

Gu Yuefeng, the Company’s Party Committee member, Chairman and President presided over the meeting. Chen Xiaobo, Party Secretary, presented work report at the meeting on behalf of the last Party Committee. Yang Hongbin, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, presented discipline inspection work report at the meeting. The Company’s leaders and representatives of Party members were present at the meeting. Chief leaders from Fujian Provincial Party Committee Organization Department and Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission also attended the meeting at the invitation.

Comrade Chen Xiaobo, on behalf of the Company’s Party Committee, made a work report themed Adapt to New Normal, Leverage New Advantage and Work Hard to Create a New FPCL with Innovation Development, Harmony and Happiness. The report looked back the work since the last Party Committee Congress, extracted ad summarized experience, analyzed the situation in the next five years, gave guiding philosophy, assigned major tasks and deployed specific work.

According to the Company’s guiding ideology and the work targets for Party Building, the major tasks for various Party organizations of the Company in the coming five years are:

First, development is the primary task. We should unite and mobilize every Party members, cadres and employees to gather strength in solidarity so as to push forward new development of the Company. Second, carry out “Three Strictly and Three Practically” requirements as the key point and practically strengthen construction of leadership team and cadre talents. Third, take advantage of the platform of a study-oriented, service-oriented and creative Party organization and enhance construction of grass-root Party organizations and Party member team. Fourth, take it as the starting point to assume the non-delegable duty of construction of an honest and clean Party, and fully promote construction of the Party conduct and anti-corruption bid. Fifth, carry forward the fine tradition of petroleum and petrochemical industry as the source of strength, practically emphasize and improve ideological and political work. Sixth, set the goal of “building a harmonious and happy grand FPCL” and forge a upgraded version of modern FPCL, and harmonious FPCL.

Comrade Yang Hongbin made discipline inspection work report themed Deeply Promote Party Conduct Construction and Anti-Corruption Work, Create A Strict, Pragmatic, Honest and Upright Corporate Environment.

During the congress, delegations conducted group discussions on Party Committee work report, Discipline Inspection work report, congress election method, proposed list of general scrutineer and scrutineer, etc. 

On the morning of Nov. 18, the congress elected Liu Xiangdong, Liu Yanchang, Yang Hongbin, Chen Feishan, Chen Xiaobo, Hu Hongye ang Gu Yuefeng (in the order of the number of strokes in the surnames) as the members of the 4^th FPCL Party Committee and the members of the 2^nd FREP Party Committee; Liu Cuixia, Li Gang, Yang Hongbin, He Qingdong and Lei Xueqing  (in the order of the number of strokes in the surnames) as the members of the 4^th FPCL Discipline Inspection Commission and the 2^nd FREP Discipline Inspection Commission.
