The Company Held Corporate Culture project Kickoff Meeting
FREP corporate culture project kickoff meeting was held in the 4/F meeting room, Office Building on the afternoon of Nov. 9. FREP OOP, departmental GMs, Hejun Consulting Co., Ltd and FREP Corporate Culture project Working Team members attended the meeting, chaired by Mr. Hussain Al Sughaiyer, Technical and Planning Department General Manager.
Mr. Hussain believed that corporate culture has a bearing on the future of a company and that the Company’s development strategy needs support by corporate culture. He hoped everyone would be concerned about this project.
Shao Xuequan, Project Manager from Hejun Consulting Company, shared knowledge about corporate culture and introduced the framework and work steps for the project.
FREP President Mr. Gu Yuefeng wrapped up the meeting and raised work requirements. He pointed out that the Company was born out of a traditional stated-owned enterprise and grew out of joint venture partnership with four sides of shareholders from three countries, taking on a presence of cultural diversity. Emphasis on communication and exchange and being client-oriented are the common features of joint ventures. To grow stronger and larger, the Company must “share the same goals, share the same values and get alignment between the management level and the working level”. He hoped that with the help of professional consulting company, we would collect the thoughts of everyone, summarize and extract common values of the joint venture.
Project members from Hejun Consulting Company interviewed three tiers of the organization, that is, OOP, departmental GMs and employees, prepared FREP corporate culture status evaluation report and extracted FREP vision, mission and core values. (Li Wen)
