The delegation led by Kang Tao, Deputy Secretary of Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of Leading Party Group of Quanzhou Municipal Government, visited FREP for survey on the morning of July 16. Gu Yuefeng, FREP Chairman and President, briefed the delegation led by Kang Tao on the production and business overview of FREP and accompanied the delegation to FREP Exhibition Hall and CCR in the new plant area.

Kang Tao extended, on behalf of Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, gratitude to FREP for the support and contribution to the development of Quanzhou for so many years. He pointed out that FREP construction and development not only made petrochemical one of the pillar industries of Quanzhou, but also strongly propped up and led the economic growth of the region. Now is a good time for Fujian to develop petrochemical industry. We should further bridge the gap in weak links, extend industrial chain, grow in scale, professionalism and strength and build a modern and new petrochemical industrial development system in accordance with the development philosophy of “focus on bellwether, cast the link chain and build cluster” as raised by Fujian Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. Quanzhou governments at all levels will continue to render active support and cooperation, as always, to grow Quangang into a genuine green petrochemical new town. He hoped that FREP would continue to invest more in technology, attach importance to environmental protection, proactively strive for preferential policy, further grow petrochemical industry in depth, scale and strength and continuously give impetus to the new round of construction and development of Quanzhou.

Gu Yuefeng, FREP Chairman and President, thanked Quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government for constant care and support rendered to FREP. He stated that FREP would set keep a foothold in Quanzhou, care about the development of Quanzhou, vigorously fulfil social responsibilities, work hard to benefit Quanzhou and pay back the society.
