FREP Labor Union held a Zhang Zhaohong (ZZH) Model Worker Innovation Studio Fixed Equipment Maintenance Team inauguration ceremony on May 25. Mr. Chen Xiaobo, the Company’s Party Secretary, and Mr. Yang Hongbin, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Labor Union Chairman of the Company, were present at the ceremony and unveil the nameplate to mark the inauguration for the Model Worker Innovation Studio.

Secretary Chen Xiaobo said, I’m very pleased to attend the inauguration ceremony for ZZH Model Worker Innovation Studio Fixed Equipment Team. The innovation spirit of the Model Worker Innovation Studio has been deeply rooted in the masses and also originates from the soil. The model worker spirit has taken root in the working masses. We need to lead the employees to take courage to innovate in word and deed. Meanwhile, Mechanical Department responded to the call of the Company, inherited and carried forward the fine tradition of the Company, vigorously blazed new trails in a pioneering spirit, adapted to the new normal, made efforts to deliver new achievements, drove employees to innovate, improve quality and make contributions to FREP for turning losses into gains.

Secretary Chen Xiaobo pointed out that model worker innovation work has not stopped moving forward. Our work needs innovation to better serve production and solve difficulties of production. Our target is not only a model worker innovation studio; instead, we aim at solving real problems for operation. What we use now is all high tech equipment; without high tech, we cannot do a good job. So we need to keep innovating, keep delivering and form a good climate where everyone participates in innovation and dares to innovate, so that we can make ZZH Model Worker Innovation Studio a brand of FREP and a brand of Sinopec.

Deputy Secretary Yang Hongbin said, the achievements of the Model Worker Innovation Studio could not be made without the strong support from relevant leaders of the Company, departments and teams, nor the selfless dedication by everyone. Model Worker Innovation Studio is just a form, which offers people a platform to showcase talent. But the key is people working down to earth on this platform. To gain real effect, it takes efforts from various aspects. It relies on skill improvement of the staff team and work style improvement of the staff team. By study of the national Model Worker spirit of Zhang Zhaohong, we pick up the spirit of model worker. We can make the Model Worker Innovation Studio a base for skill learning and a base for talent cultivation.

Deputy Secretary Yang Hongbin emphasized that “Single blossom doesn’t comprise the spring, all flowers bloom together light up the spring”. We have seen tiny spots of stars shining from construction of the Model Worker Innovation Studio and execution of innovation. I hope we can further promote model worker innovation work and spread the seed of Model Worker Innovation Studio across the whole organization. In time, we will see a garden full of brightness of blossom. We can make contributions to committing FREP to a world class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.

Fu Jilin, ZZH Model Worker Innovation Studio Fixed Equipment Maintenance Team Lead, presented the establishment of the Fixed Equipment Maintenance Team and the efforts it made in innovation. Zhang Zhaohong, national model worker, reported on the work Model Worker Innovation Studio did in 2014 and 2015 work plan.
