On the afternoon of May 5, the Company held a grand summary and award ceremony in commemoration of the 96^th Anniversary of “May Fourth” Movement. Leaders of the Company Chen Xiaobo and Yang Hongbin, head of PC&U, grass root general Party branches and branch secretaries were present at the conference. Grass root Youth League general branches, branch secretaries and part of the advanced collectives and individuals who were awarded of the Company attended the conference.

The conference summarized FREP Youth League work done in 2014 and deployed and pinpointed 2015 tasks. It also awarded 5 “May Fourth Red Flag Youth League (General) Branches”, 5 “Advanced Youth Shock Brigades”, 7 excellent Youth League cadres, 54 excellent Youth League members and 6 excellent youth shock workers. In addition, the conference deployed a Youth League building activity themed “Excel in Turning Loss into Gains, Contribute Positive Energy of Youth”, read out the Initiative to all the Youth League members of the Company and called upon young employees to carry forward the good quality and glorious heritage of FPCL, be courageous to take responsibilities, forge valiantly ahead and strive for the annual targets and tasks of the Company.

Yang Hongbin, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Trade Union Chairman of the Company delivered the concluding speech. He highly appreciated the efforts made by the Company’s Youth League and raised three points of requirements for the work of the Company’s Youth League and the Youth. First, inherit the tradition and keep the faith, work hard to contribute the positive energy of the youth; boost three points of confidence, actively practice the socialist core values, inherit fine traditions and develop good climate of working and entrepreneurship. Second, figure out the situation, work hard and make new contributions to building a world first class energy and chemical company; see clearly the situation and the tasks that the Company is faced up with now, unify ideological understanding and make positive contributions to winning over the tough war for profit; young employees should endeavor to do a good job, sharpen the skill, build up true skill and genuine knowledge, and grow together with the enterprise. Third, motivate the vitality, get down to earth and keep progressive, and create new dimension for Youth League and youth work. Stimulate the energy of the grass root organizations and do the youth job under the new situation with new mentality and new judgment; all levels of Party organizations should support the work of Youth League so as to allow the youth to grow and succeed on the stage of innovation and profit creating.
