Convention of the Third Employee Representative Congress in the Second Term of FREP


On the morning of March 20th, the Third Employee Representative Congress in the Second Term of FREP was convened in the technical hall with presence of company Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng and Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and Chairman of Labor Union Yang Hongbin, as well as participation of more than 120 staff representatives from all the departments.

At the session, Member of the Standing Committee of FREP Labor Union and General Manager of Human Resources and Administration Department Lei Xueqing conveyed the main spirits of 2015 FREP Management Work Conference.

Six management procedures (Leave Application and Cancellation Management Process, Supplementary Medical Insurance Plan, Employee Exit Management Process, Housing Fund Management Process, Work Pattern and Work Hour Management Process, List of Supporting Position to Use Dispatched Labor) and the company Collective Contract of Remuneration were reviewed and confirmed.

On behalf of the company, Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng signed the Collective Contract of Remuneration with Chairman of Labor Union Yang Hongbin who was on behalf of the company employees.

Chairman of Labor Union Yang Hongbin made a work report - Engage the Employees to Strive and Achieve Profitability via Innovative Development.

In his report, Chairman Yang Hongbin arranged the work of Labor Union in 2015 including five key points. Firstly, learn and put into effect the spirit of the Third andForthPlenary Sessionof the 18th CentralCommittee of the Chinese Communist Party and the series of important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping, and firmly manage the work of Labor Union in the right political direction. Secondly, work closely around the goal and main task of the company in 2015 and fully inspire the activity and vitality of the whole workforce. Thirdly, insist on governance of Labor Union in accordance with the law and deepen the construction of harmonious labor relationship; Fourthly, continually improve the work style of Labor Union to serve the employees and motivate Labor Union’s organizational vitality; Fifthly, well utilize the platform of culture and sports to facilitate a wide variety of activities and create a lively and harmonious corporate environment.

President Gu Yuefeng made a speech and pointed out that first of all we should be clearly aware of the tough situation at present. The new year is under severe situation with arduous tasks but also a critical year for us to catch the opportunity and drive forward optimization improvement and turning loss into gain. In front of the new normal economy, we should well control the trend, identify issues, catch opportunities, adapt to the changing market with more fierce competition and adapt to more strict safety and environmental requirements as well as variations in energy saving and emission reduction. Secondly, we should build up confidence and take initiative in production operation oriented at marker exploration and around profit improvement. The company made profit in January and February this year, ranked top three among SINOPEC companies, which was a good start in the new year. Thirdly, we should reinforce collaboration and be enthusiastic to welcome the new normal with new action to fight hard for optimization improvement and turning loss into gain. He encouraged the whole workforce to make joint efforts and turn the year of 2015 into a new start for quality transformation of the company operation, be proactive to meet the challenges and break new ground.

Vice Chairman of Labor Union and Head of Labor Union Fund Examination Committee shared the use of labor union fund in 2014.

Member of Standing Committee of Labor Union and Head of Female Employee Committee Liu Cui Xia read out the proposal of Enhance Ownership, Play the Role of Main Force and Take New Action to Adapt to New Normal and Achieve Management and Profit Improvement.
