On March 10^th, SINOPEC outside directors Ma Zhigeng and Ding Zhongzhi visited FREP for a survey, in the company of SINOPEC BOD Secretary Cui Guoqi and Deputy Head of General Office He Ke.

The delegate had a symposium with FREP management to understand the accomplishment of production operation tasks in 2014 and the first quarter of 2015 as well as implementation and progress of deepened reform/transformation & development/rigorous management and other activities. They communicated in deep about the difficulties and problems with reform and development, the knowledge of internal system transformation, next-step work ideas and other topics.

Ma Zhigeng and Ding Zhongzhi stated that under the circumstance of domestic economic downturn the company should positively solve the outstanding issues with JV production operation, optimize and adjust the structures, reinforce rigorous management, strengthen communication and coordination with local government and shareholders etc., and well implement the assignment and requirements of Party Committee. The company leadership was required to organize discussion and deep thinking about the impact of new normal Chinese economy development on the future operation of petrochemical enterprises as well as how the enterprise should respond to the above. In the meantime, the management should well manage energy saving, consumption reduction, quality and efficiency improvement, and make all efforts to achieve the annual target.

They also inquired the secondees from foreign shareholders to FREP of their work and life in the local area and wished all of them a good stay in China.

Accompanied by Company Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng, Party Committee Secretary Chen Xiaobo and others, the delegate visited the process units and new central control room in spirits.
