In the evening of March 6^th, the Company Labor Union sponsored a cooking contest in the dining hall of Fulian Building in Quanzhou to celebrate New Year and Lantern Festival with unity and happiness. In total 40 teams participated in the contest on behalf of FPCL, FREP, LFG Company, Fuyuan Company, Ruisheng Company and other organizations. Company management Gu Yuefeng, Chen Xiaobo, Liu Xiangdong, Parut Chatikavanij, Yang Hongbin, Liu Yanchang, Hu Hongye, Li Siyang and Chen Feishan were present at the contest as observers and delivered awards to the winners.

The venue was busy and full of jollification, with contestants kneading dough or mixing stuffing here and there. Not only general staff but also foreign managers participated in the activity.

Representatives of each team were pulled together having a lot of fun making dumplings, rice dumplings and cold dishes and showing their skills, with smiling faces and beautiful dumplings/rice dumplings immersed in deep affection. A wide variety of dumplings/rice dumplings and dishes were ready for show no more than one hour. The fruity appearance and gorgeous colors, in particular the vividly carved assorted cold dishes attracted quite a few audiences with cheers. While enjoying the delicious food, people’s cheerful chatting and laughter incorporated with the fragrant dumplings and rice dumplings indicating reunion and homeliness.

Rice dumplings, nice fortunes! Having the personally made dumplings/rice dumplings, people blessed each other and enjoyed the sense of reunion in the big family.

After comprehensive appraisals by the professional judges covering color, fragrance, taste, appearance, implication, nutrition and other aspects, HR & Administration Department and Supply & Distribution Department of FREP won the first prizes, FREP Finance Department, FREP Offsite BT in Process Department, Linde-FPCL Gas Company and Fuyuan Company won the second prizes, FREP Comprehensive Maintenance Group in Mechanical Department, FPCL Retiree Administration Center and the other four organizations won the third prizes.

Celebrate the New Year and Lantern Festival with unity and happiness. The contest activities passed on happiness and blessing to all people present who did enjoy a colorful and joyful night. (Xiao Wanyuan)
