ExxonMobil Refining, Supply, Research and Engineering Control Manager Mr. Bob Scrib Paid a Visit to FREP
On February 9th, ExxonMobil Refining, Supply, Research and Engineering Control Manager Mr. Bob Scrib paid a visit to FREP. Company Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng and Vice President Parut Chatikavanij met with Mr. Bob Scrib with cordial communication.
On behalf of Company Office of President, President Gu Yuefeng extended welcome to Bob Scrib for his second visit to FREP and appreciated his great support and assistance to the Joint Venture. He said that JV was confronted with huge difficulties and pressures due to market factors and he appreciated great support from shareholders including ExxonMobil. The company would further optimize product structure, make efforts to improve financial results with a key focus on improvement of safety, business performance and efficiency, and catch opportunities out of challenges in view of features of the new normal economy and market in China. In the meantime, the company would pay high attention to the newly revised Law of Production Safety and Law of Environmental Protection to ensure company production and operation in compliance with laws and regulations.
President Gu stated that OOP and company management members were confident despite of the difficulties and pressures. They would follow the strategic arrangement by Board of Directors focusing on the company Five Key Focus Areas and business priorities to start up EO/EG, DAU and C2 Unit in 2015 for efficiency improvement in support of gross margin improvement and further improved profitability to maximize company profit in return to all the shareholders seeking for their greater support and assistance.
Mr. Scrib indicated it was a great pleasure to visit FREP for the second time. He expressed that he was proud of the solidarity and cooperation of OOP as well as the hard work of the whole workforce. He understood the difficulties and pressures the JV was faced with and he expected the market environment to be further improved. In full recognition of the measures and actions taken by FREP to cope with the tough market situation nowadays, he noted that all the shareholders shared the same objective in terms of FREP development, ready to provide great support and assistance as usual. The success of FREP would be a result of sincere cooperation of all the shareholders. He looked forward to intensified cooperation among the shareholders to facilitate better development of the JV.
