On the afternoon of March 6^th, Work Conference in 2015 on Construction of Party Conduct and Anti-corruption was convened in Fulian Building.

On behalf of the company Discipline Inspection Commission, Deputy Secretary of Company Party Committee and Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission Yang Hongbhin made a work report on construction of party conduct and anti-corruption.

He reviewed the achievement of Discipline Inspection Commission in 2014 and pointed out that under the correct leadership of SINOPEC Party Discipline Inspection Group, Fujian Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission, Company Management and Company Party Committee, all the units and departments carried out and implemented anti-corruption deployed by the company and higher authority, worked around the core task, focused on key work, rigorously followed the party rules, reinforced construction of party conduct, seriously implemented Two Responsibilities, well managed accountability system for construction of incorrupt party conduct, rolled out education of anti-corruption in a deep-going way, reinforced supervision, created new working mechanism, effectively operated the penalty and prevention system against corruption, maintained a sound momentum of party conduct construction and anti-corruption, solidly promoted and guaranteed the company production operation/reform and development and all the other internal administration activities.

Yang Hongbin put an emphasis on the eight areas for work in 2015. Firstly, be more strict and impartial with party disciplines, putting more importance on compliance with rules and disciplines. Secondly, seriously implement Two Responsibilities with rigorous accountability process. Thirdly, correct the Four Habits in depth and continuously execute the Eight Provisions. Fourthly, drill down promotion and education of anti-corruption and build up a constant mental line of defense. Fifthly, improve construction of anti-corruption system and unceasingly push forward rigorous management. Sixthly, intensify supervision and improve the effectiveness of corruption prevention. Seventhly, function as designed to investigate and handle discipline violation and irregularity. Eighthly, focus on self-construction to build a dedicated team for discipline inspection and supervision with integrity and accountability.

Party Committee Secretary Chen Xiaobo laid stress on three points about construction of party conduct and anti-corruption. He said this meeting made further arrangement to insist on rigorous self-governance of the party and drive forward construction of party conduct and anti-corruption. He raised several expectations on party committees at all levels: firstly, achieve common understanding, build consensus and well implement the meeting requirements; secondly, improve understanding and catch the right point to rigorously implement the Two Responsibilities for construction of party conduct; thirdly, follow the requirement of rigorous party governance, well control education of disciplines and enhance people’s awareness of disciplines and consciousness.

At the end of the meeting, Company Party Committee member, Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng delivered an important speech. He reinforced that this meeting was not only to reunify mindset, deepen understanding and clarify tasks but also an education session about incorrupt party conduct. Party committees at all levels in the company should work on rigorous party governance as a significant political task, follow strict disciplines and rules, sustain correction of Four Habits, deepen education of anti-corruption, and build a sound and clean environment for business. All the party members and cadres should continuously improve capabilities in all areas, drive forward construction of party conduct and anti-corruption, and guarantee the upswing of company profit this year.

At the meeting, Liability Statements for Construction of Party Conduct and Anti-corruption were issued to the base general party branches and directly affiliated party branches. (Li Hongwu)
