Embracing the New Year’s fresh sunshine and striding vigorously, we march towards the year of 2015 filled with hopes. 

On the morning of Jan. 10 of 2015, 1,311 employees from all companies of the “Fulian” including FPCL, FREP, LFG, Fuxiang, Fuyuan, and Ruisheng, took part in FREP’s 11^th new-year-greeting long-distance race, to embrace the arrival of the new year with happy running.

Mr. Chen Xiaobo, Company Party Secretary, made a speech saying that the annual long-distance race aiming at “greeting New Year, celebrating anniversary, advancing development and boosting harmony” had been held ten times. Over the past one decade, we united as one, fought hard and achieved the second time of leaping development of Fulian. He said the 2^nd round of the 10-year long-distance races started that day and the starting line of the 3^rd leap-frog development of the Fulian was just under everyone’s feet. He also said that everyone, under the leadership of the new leading team of the Company and the Company’s Party Committee, should work hard and make every effort to overcome all difficulties and achieve our glorious goals. He wished our Fulian a more blessed and promising future.

Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Company’s Chairman and President, announced “The Company’s 11^th new-year-greeting long-distance race now starts!”

With the starter firing the pistol at 9:30, leaders of FPCL and FREP including Gu Yuefeng, Chen Xiaobo, Liu Xiangdong, Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Yang Hongbin, Liu Yanchang, and Li Siyang took the lead in starting off from the stadium at the forefront of the long-distance race team, which kicked off the new-year-greeting race. A total of 29 representative teams consisting of employees from FPCL, FREP, Fuyuan, Ruisheng and etc. started their races one after another, running from the stadium towards Xiangyun Road located at Gate 1# of FREP plant area. 

All along the race way, the runners were running in orderly matrixes, happily shedding off their sweats and vigorously radiating their warmth for the new year. Their colorful clothes, regular teams, and smiling faces constituted a vivid picture which was full of vitality against the cold wind.

With sunlight on faces and crystal sweat beads on foreheads, the runners successively breasted the yarn half an hour later. Wiping off the sweat and smiling, they expressed their common desire for the New Year---I take exercise, I am healthy, I am happy, and wish everyone a Happy New Year of Goat!

In the end, representative teams of FPCL administration sector, Ruisheng, FREP HSE, Fuyuan, FREP Process Department, Fuxiang, FREP Mechanical Deptment, FREP Technical and Planning Department, Fujian Meizhou Bay Chlor-Alkali Industry Co., Ltd. and LFG Company won the top ten team awards of the race. Awards for excellent organization and sportsmanship were also given.

The Company has held the new-year-greeting long-distance race for 11 consecutive years with the aim at strengthening corporate culture building, enriching cultural and spiritual life of employees and promoting health of employees. This activity has not only activated a new fitness surge among all employees, but also further stimulated their sense of group honor, cultivated their team spirit, enhanced FREP’s cohesion and strongly facilitated FREP’s sustainable, effective, healthy and harmonious development since it was launched.
