FREP Commended Advanced Groups and Outstanding Individuals for Party Building Work in 2014

On Jan. 9, FREP Party Committee commended and rewarded grassroots Party organizations and outstanding individuals who made remarkable achievements in Party building work assessment and performed extraordinarily in conducting Party building activities in 2014.

In 2014, FREP all levels of Party organizations carried out the series of important documents about grassroots Party building issued by Sinopec Party Committee, and made serious efforts in satisfying all requirements specified by the documents Work Rules for Direct Subsidiary Party Committees, Work Rules for Grassroots Party Branches and Detailed Work Rules for Party Member Recruitments, which further consolidated Party building foundations, promoted standardization, systemization and scientification of FREPs Party building work and facilitated translation of political advantages into core enterprise competitiveness.

Twelve grassroots Party branches, including Process Department’s Fuels-2 BT Party branch, Mechanical Department’s instrument Party branch, and Technical and Planning Department’s process engineering Party branch, have made great efforts in recruitment of party members for their branches. They have strictly adhered to the system of “three meetings and one course”, engaged in theme practices, reinforced related fundamental work, and promoted Party building of grassroots Party organizations. In the 2014 grassroots Party building work assessment, they won high scores with their outstanding achievements and were awarded with the honorary title of “Excellent Party Branch”.

In 2014, all levels of grassroots Party organizations and the vast number of Party members, actively took part in the Party building theme program of “compete contributions to management and profit, lead in loss reduction and profit increase”. Based on the main tasks and work requirements raised by FREP’s “Management and Profit Improvement Year” initiative and by focusing on the five KFAs as “Safety, Reliability, Margin, Opex and People”, they carried out a series of “skill competitions and mutual skill learning” activities, which covered safety, environmental protection, management innovation, margin improvement, energy-saving and consumption reduction. Those activities have strongly facilitated FREP to achieve its annual work targets, in which many advanced groups and outstanding individuals emerged. Eleven Party branches, including Process Department’s Fuels-1 BT Party branch, Mechanical Department’s electrical operating sector Party branch, and Technical and Planning Department’s planning and optimization sector Party branch, were awarded with the honorary title of “Advanced Group in Holding Party Building Theme Activities in 2014”. Sixty-two Party members including Lin Xinfeng, were granted the honorary title of “Excellent Individual Participating in Party Building Theme Activities in 2014”.

FREP Party Committee required all levels of grassroots Party organizations to concentrate on focus areas, serve the overall interests, enrich contents of Party building themed activities, and innovate ways and methods for such activities in joint venture so as to continuously enhance pertinence and effectiveness of such activities and make new contributions to building FREP into a leading integrated refining and petrochemical enterprise in Asia.
