On the afternoon of January 22^nd, FREP Labor Union convened a meeting in the Company exhibition hall to award the 2014 labor competition in the theme of Act as Major Driving Force to Achieve the Goal of 12^th Five-Year Plan. The meeting was facilitated by GM Production Operation Liu Yanchang, with presence of Company Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng, Deputy Party Secretary & Secretary of Discipline Commission & Labor Union Chairman Yang Hongbin, PMG GM Hu Hongye, along with participation of the Lead/Deputy Lead of Competition Steering Committee, Lead/Deputy Lead of each Functional Team, Manager/PCL/TCL/Union Chairman of the competing organization, representative of recognized organization and individuals.

In his concluding speech for the theme labor completion in 2014, Deputy Secretary Yang Hongbin stated that the Company Labor Union had carefully followed and implemented the spirits of Company Party Work Conference and Management Work Conference in 2014 to organize labor competition activities in the theme of Act as Major Driving Force to Achieve the Goal of 12^th Five-Year Plan in a deep-going way mainly composed of comprehensive competition in the perspectives of Flawless Operation, KEV Energy-saving Performance Assessment, and KMV Gross Margin Improvement, which were greatly supported by all the function departments and positively responded by all staff, involving 84 frontline shift teams and above 900 employees, with more than 50 assessors from function departments/BTs/PCLs/TCLs. The competition activities met the expectations to foster management, production, development and profitability. He expected that the whole organization could be well aligned at all levels with clear direction, further motivate and inspire all the employees to enthusiastically utilize their boundless intelligence and great vitality to push forward the Act as Major Driving Force to Achieve the Goal of 12th Five-Year Plan theme competition to be deeper and broader at a higher level.

GM Hu Hongye declared the decision to commend Excellent Team Lead in 2014, Winning Organization and Wining Team of 2014 Labor Competition.

Company management members Gu Yuefeng, Yang Hongbin, Liu Yanchang and Hu Hongye awarded medals and souvenirs to the winners.

Last but not least, President Gu Yuefeng made a conclusion speech. He indicated the awarded advanced teams and excellent individuals had fully demonstrated our staff’s persistent pursuit of learning and innovation with a good spirit to work hard and be bold in practice, setting examples to motivate and lead all the workforce to acquire new knowledge and skills based on the job and make efforts to be employees with skills and expertise. President Gu encouraged the Labor Union to work closely around the core business, continue with creative and innovative labor competition, and further motivate employees’ enthusiasm for work and potential of creation to make more contributions to sustainable and healthy development of the company.

On the same afternoon, the Company Labor Union organized an enlarged meeting with all committee members, where they reviewed the accomplishments in 2014 and made arrangements of work in 2015.
