Innovation comes through dreams as basis and proceeds in reality for rewarding.

On the afternoon of December 10^th, Award Ceremony for the 3^rd Term of Innovation Day was convened in FREP Exhibition Hall with presence of Company Chairman and President Gu Yuefeng, Vice President Nouraddin A Yousuf, Vice President Parut Chatikavanij, Deputy CPC Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary and Labor Union Chairman Yang Hongbin, Production Operation General Manager Liu Yanchang, who respectively awarded the trophies and certificates to representatives of prize winners, expecting all the workforce to keep on raising more innovative Golden Ideas proactively contributing to scientific development of the company. The accomplishment of the 3^rd Term of Innovation Day fully demonstrated the company’s competency and achievement in the five key focus areas of Safety, Reliability, Margin, Operating Expense and People.

President Gu Yuefeng expressed his gratitude to great work by whoever participated in the Innovation Day, won the prizes or acted as part of the work team. He mentioned that this Innovation Day played a role as a solid and efficient platform to collect advices and suggestions closely around the five Key Focus Areas as well as Management and Profit Improvement, engaging the majority of company staff focused on discussion about management, profit, reliability, margin improvement and so on, willing to put forward ideas reflective of their wisdom to be carried out through efforts and course of actions. All this indicated the healthy business environment full of positive energy. Mr. Gu appreciated the contributions from all of these people.

He also reinforced the need to attach importance to translate the Golden Ideas from our employees into Golden Keys to scientific development of the company. In particular, the company management and all staff should further enhance cross-department team work pulling together to get through difficulties and contribute to scientific development of the company to cope with the tough challenge from market currently. In the meantime, he was looking forward to endless innovation in the following year with more and better Golden Ideas to be turned into real components in establishing the company as a wonderful Home of FREP and a world-level petrochemical enterprise with continuous competitiveness.

The company management Gu Yuefeng, Nouraddin A Yousuf, Parut Chatikavanij, Yang Hongbin and Liu Yanchang respectively awarded trophies and certificates to winner representatives of First/Second/Third Prize and Execution Prize.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Wu Liangjiang, the winner of first prize this term, stated that acquisition of this prize was a motivation and encouragement granting him more confidence with the efforts in energy saving and consumption reduction. In the future he would work together with colleagues to make unremitting endeavors for company management and profit improvement building on the actual production situations.

The 3rd Term of Innovation Day lasted for four months with proactive advices and suggestions offered by the company employees around the five Key Focus Areas as well as Management and Profit Improvement. In total 353 ideas were collected by Innovation Day Commission Work Team, 25 out of which were selected for final review.
