Saudi Aramco Delegation Visited FREP


Saudi Aramco delegation of 22 members visited FREP on November 10. FREP Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, Vice Presidents Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Mr. Parut Chatikavani, and Operation General Manager Mr. Liu Yanchang had a cordial meeting with the delegation, where the host and guests had friendly talks.

First of all, President Mr. Gu Yuefeng, on behalf of OOP, welcomed Saudi Aramco delegation to visit FREP. He said, I just joined the joint venture and as the new member and new host of the large FREP family, I’m very pleased to welcome guests coming afar from Saudi Aramco. The joint venture cannot develop without the great support from shareholders. Tomorrow is November 11, the 5th anniversary of the commercial operation of Fujian Integrated Refining and Ethylene Project. FREP has made conspicuous achievements in a plenty of domains with the strong support from shareholders at home and abroad and under the concerted efforts of all staff. He hoped that we would work together to run and develop the current projects well, further develop partnership in refining and petrochemical industry, strategic emerging industries and so on, achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation and carry forward our good cooperation unceasingly. Finally, he expressed that FREP is your home, welcome home often and expect you to tell your colleagues to drop in on FREP from time to time.

Vice President Mr. Parut Chatikavani expressed that FREP got great support from shareholders at home and abroad and shareholders including Saudi Aramco shared good cooperation. He hoped the delegation to visit FREP and talk to employees. He expected to meet and have conversations with them. He said, as a host, I am very pleased today; I hope the meeting we have today will be a solid start and I’m looking forward to further exchange and communication between the two sides.

Mr. AL ARNAOUT, KHALIL HASSAN K, member of the delegation and Saudi Aramco Manager of Energy System Department, expressed great delight to visit FREP. He said, this Saudi Aramco delegation is a very high level team and cherishes a lot the partnership and friendship of the two sides. As we visit FREP in person today and see the good momentum of development of the joint venture, it proves the strategic cooperation of shareholders from home and abroad is right and successful. Saudi Aramco will be more confident and invest more to further expand the cooperation field. He wished ever more flourishing businesses for FREP.

Accompanied by Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf, Saudi Aramco delegation visited integrated project Exhibition hall and CCR of the new plant area and was driven to process plant area to learn more about the technical processes, safety, environment, etc. for the Company’s process units.
