Mutual Aid Mutual Benefit Win Win Cooperation--- FREP OOP Visited SinoChem QZPC


OOP members Mr. GuYuefeng, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf and Mr. Parut Chatikavanij, and Operation General Manager Mr. Liu Yanchang led relevant departmental leaders to visit SinoChem Quanzhou Petrochemical Company Limited (QZPC) on the morning of December 10, SinoChem Group Party Group Member and Vice President and QZPC General Manager Mr. Du Guosheng, Deputy General Manager Zhang Qiang, Tang Huiyun and relevant leaders had a cordial meeting with FREP delegation led by OOP. The two sides had an in-depth communication and exchange on further deepening mutual aid and mutual benefit, jointly building win-win cooperation among petrochemical enterprises, and so forth.

First of all, Mr. Du Guosheng General Manager expressed warm welcome to FREP delegation led by OOP. He briefed on the production operation, development plan and ideas of SinoChem QZPC. He said, as a Chinese saying goes: a close neighbor is better than a brother far off. Both SinoChem QZPC and FREP are seated in Meizhou Bay Petrochemical Base, both having advantages and disadvantages. He hoped the two sides would further strengthen communication and exchange, complement each other’s advantages, build regular communication and exchange mechanism and endeavor to realize reciprocity, mutual benefit and win-win development.

 FREP Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng said, both two companies are located in Meizhou Bay within the port and enjoy fair wind, calm sea and safe and steady production under the protection of Meizhou Goddess Matsu. The two sides have leveraged competitive edge of each own and enhanced cooperation in technical, talents, management and other aspects so as to complement each other’s advantages. He hoped that the two sides would further beef up communication and exchange, especially partnership in equipment accessories, crude oil operation, jetty business, response to market risks, etc. to achieve development in a harmonious and win-win manner.

Vice President Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf expressed that the two companies enjoyed good neighbourly and friendly relation and we should strengthen connection like visiting relatives and cooperate to achieve win-win situation.

Vice President Mr. Parut Chatikavanij said, I had worked in Singapore before joining FREP, in charge of optimization of 8 ExxonMobil refineries in Asia Pacific area, namely, seeking resource sharing among these refineries and improving management level. Likewise, such management pattern is applicable to FREP and SinoChem QZPC. It will generate harmony and mutual growth for the two sides in response to the current tough market challenges.

In the light of the theme and intention of “Exchange, Cooperation, Win-Win”, representatives of the two sides each aired their own views, ideas and suggestions to tackle the current severe market. They had faith in the future prospect and hoped to underline communication and exchange about the opportunities of further cooperation between the two sides in a deep-going way. The meeting determined to build a regular exchange & communication mechanism as a new platform for the two sides to realize mutual development, which will strongly and constantly boost the partnership towards a new height and width for sure.

Affiliated with SinoChem Group, SinoChem QZPC is seated in Fujian Meizhou Bay Petrochemical Base – Quan Hui Petrochemical Industry Park as reported. It has 19 refining production units including APS/VPS, Resid Hydrotreating, Gas Oil Hydrocracking, CCR, Heavy Oil FCC, Delayed Coking, PP, etc. and associated terminal and warehousing facilities. It processes 12 MTA crude oil with investment of approx. RMB 30 billion Yuan. Major products include kerosene, gasoline, diesel, benzene, toluene, mixed xylene, polypropylene, LPG, sulfur, chemical light oil, and so on. (Xiao Wanyuan)
