ExxonMobil Vice President of Refining Sales Mr. Russ Green Visited FREP
Mr. Russ Green, ExxonMobil Vice President of Refining Sales, visited FREP on the morning of November 5, as accompanied by Mr. Neo Kim Teck, ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Sale Director, Mr. Dominic Tang and Mr. Lgnatius Lee, SSPC (Fujian) Vice Presidents. FREP Chairman and President Mr. Gu Yuefeng had a cordial meeting with the delegation led by Mr. Russ Green where the host and guests had cordial and friendly talks.
Mr. Russ Green said that I used to work in Shanghai China and I’m very pleased to come to Fujian to visit FREP, most importantly, to have face to face communications and exchanges with the management of the joint venture, which is very impressive. He expressed strong alignment with and full recognition of FREP in business, concept, target, and the like. He empathized with the hardship that was confronting the joint venture. He said, we, together with SSPC (Fujian) finished oil sales management personnel, communicate with FREP today so as to cope with the severe market jointly and hope to run and develop the joint venture better by close cooperation of shareholders, realize win-win situation and carry forward our good partnership.
To begin with, President Mr. Gu Yuefeng thanked shareholders including ExxonMobil for the understanding and the great support and help extended. He said FREP needs to perceive sales work as the “Life Program” for continuous development of the Company, firmly establish market awareness, take it as a constant pursuit to meet customers’ demand, ceaselessly expand the market and occupy the market, and consolidate and expand the ever-growing market foundation. We need to develop marketing strategy effectively and apply it flexibly. We should handle the relationship between quantity and price correctly, stick fast to the set target and try our best to improve economics. We should continuously strengthen marketing research, grasp market trend precisely and gain the initiative of market competition in hand. He expressed that we should further improve sales service and provide quality service including logistics, sales, and so forth. We should enhance the link between production and sales so that production and sales will join hands in responding to the current tough market challenges and maximize returns to shareholders.
