On September 11^th, FREP OOP Special Meeting was held in Quanzhou Office Building presided by President Lu Dong to share progress update of Key Focus Areas from January to August 2014 and plan for next-step key priorities, with attendance of Company Chairman and President Lu Dong, VP Nouraddin A. Yousuf, VP Parut Chatikavanij, Deputy Party Secretary/Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary/Labor Union Chairman Yang Hongbin, Production Operation GM Liu Yanchang, PMG GM Hu Hongye and relevant responsible persons from each department.

Progress of five key focus areas – safety/reliability/gross margin/operating expense/people was presented at the meeting together with sharing of latest key priorities in Process Department, briefing of company business plan from year 2015 to year 2018, introduction of company facility plan and update of business activities such as inventory clean-up, with in-depth discussions around five KFAs and new business plan. Key priorities in the following four months and specific action for optimization and improvement were determined in order to achieve the annual target; initiatives for improvement were proposed to close safety gaps; comments and suggestions were raised for the company business plan and facility plan; specific action plan was developed with regard to more effective breakdown of targets and accelerated progress of execution.

All relevant departments were required at the meeting to expedite execution of 2014 key focus areas and business priorities and ensure successful accomplishment of all the targets via effective communication and measurement face to face with all the workforce motivated to be proactively engaged, for the purpose of building a solid foundation to develop FREP into a leading petrochemical enterprise in the world with continuous competitiveness.
