FREP Held 2014 New Staff Welcome Meeting
On the morning of August 4, FREP held 2014 new staff welcome meeting. Mr. Parut Chatikavanij, FREP Vice President, was present at the welcome meeting. Heads of Process Department, Technical and Planning Department, Mechanical Department, Human Resource and Administration Department and so forth, and 26 new graduates attended the welcome meeting, chaired by Mr. Lei Xueqing, General Manager of Human Resource and Administration Department.
Lin Mingbin and Liu Zonglin, FREP employees and representatives of previous graduates talked about their work reflections and work experience at the welcome meeting. The 26 graduate staff made passionate self-introductions and expressed their fine will to soon assimilate into the big family of FREP and to make contributions to the rapid development of the Company.
Mr. Lei Xueqing, Mr. Lin Xu and Mr. Zhang Huaping, functional department leaders, raised great expectations towards new employees: first, reinforce learning and seek advice with an open mind, hoping every new hire would correctly understand the purpose of the posts they hold and find one that fits most at the most critical stage of life; second, work down-to-earth, grow step by step and realize win-win result of both individual and corporate values.
Mr. Parut Chatikavanij, FREP Vice President, first of all congratulated new graduates on selecting FREP and it would be fun and happiness to work here. He also recollected, with pleasure, the memory when he just started his career and shared his own work experience and feelings. He emphasized that working in petrochemical company calls for high attention to safety and risk control; intensify training, be capable of learning, seek advice from senior employees and adapt to the new role as an employee as soon as possible. He said, as a large scale multinational joint venture, FREP has formed the best management practices by drawing upon the sophisticated managerial expertise and philosophies of both Chinese and foreign shareholders and joining FREP is a great opportunity for you to learn. He expressed, like you, I just joined FREP lately and would like to be a member of the great family of FREP, learn from each other and make progress together. He hoped that everyone would blend in with the enterprise team in no time and make contributions to the Company’s commitment to building a world-class petrochemical company with sustainable competitiveness.
The 26 new comers who graduated in 2013 are from Xiamen University, Xi’an Petroleum University, Lanzhou Petrochemical College of Vocational Technology respectively. They inject fresh blood and strength to the growth of the Company.
