Company Party Committee Organized Excellent Party Members and Excellent Party Workers to Visit


Led by Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Liu Yanchang, Mr. Chen Feishan and other leads of the Company, FPCL and FREP Party Committee organized excellent Party Members and excellent Party Workers to visit Zhangzhou Gulei Petrochemical Park for learning purpose, in two batches on July 26 and August 2 respectively.

Party members visited the Planning Library for Gulei Port Economic Development Area, studied Gulei Petrochemical kickoff project and jetty berth construction, got to understand the Gulei Port Economic Development Area planning and construction status and drove to PX production area of XiangluTenglong Group. Gulei enjoys the advantages of good location, favorable natural endowment of port, abundant resource of fresh water, ample source of land, convenient external transportation, etc. and thus possesses all conditions to develop a large-scale port-surrounding petrochemical industry base. Now the national strategy of West Taiwan Strait is being firmly implemented, which is a strong driving force for forging Gulei into the petrochemical industry base of Fujian Province and Taiwan petrochemical industry park. The local government and people run high enthusiasm in expecting development, seeking development and pushing development with great impetus. The people at both sides of the Taiwan Strait promote cooperation to jointly develop Gulei to be the new economic growth area and the land of treasure for cross-strait exchange and cooperation. 

Party members said one after another that the visit and study broadened the horizon and enriched the mind. They expressed their confidence in the prospect of petrochemical industry and their will to start from their own posts, fulfill their duties, dedicate themselves to work, forge ahead with determination and make positive contributions to the scientific development of the Company.

It is reported that Gulei Petrochemical Base is in parallel with Meizhou Bay Petrochemical Base as one of West Taiwan Strait petrochemical bases. According to the current industrial park plan, the total refining capacity is adjusted from 2 sets of 10MTA capacities to over 50MTA; annual ethylene output is deployed to be 5MTA; Gulei Port throughout is adjusted from original 130 million tons to above 200 million tons. In time, Gulei will form an aromatic-based petrochemical industry chain on top of refining and mutually complement with olefin-based Meizhou Bay petrochemical industry chain, so as to promote Fujian as a great province of petrochemical industry.
