On the afternoon of Feb. 26^th, No. 9 Inspectorate composed of 5 members as led by Mr. Liu Yuan, Deputy Director of Integrated Bureau of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), visited our company for the first work safety supervision and inspection after Spring Festival by going deep into Liyuwei Terminal, accompanied by personnel from provincial, municipal and district governments and work safety department. Mr. Liu Yanchang, FREP Operations General Manager led Process Dept., Mechanical Dept., Technical & Planning Dept. and HSE Dept. to welcome the Inspectorate for supervision, inspection and instructions.

Mr. Liu Yanchang gave a brief introduction of FREP overview to the Inspectorate and highlighted FREP work safety management and characteristic practices, in particular, reported on the hazards and issues found during comprehensive work safety audits carried out in the previous year and the correction progress. He said, FREP strictly follows the deployment of higher authorities, takes account of the management feature as a joint venture and its own reality, works on self-examination and self-correction for comprehensive work safety audits and gets prepared to embrace supervision and audits of work safety departments of governments at all levels. He indicated that FREP would honor the entity responsibilities for sure and try to correct open hazards as soon as possible. Meanwhile, it would strengthen work safety of external oil and gas pipe racks, emergency rescue management and consciousness of responsibility, and live up to a responsible corporate citizen.

    The Inspectorate highly recognized FREP in safety management practices, integration of Sino-foreign managerial cultures, good HSE performance over many years and the great importance attached to the hazard correction as identified during comprehensive safety audit. Meanwhile, they also required our company to further enhance safety management work, take the opportunity of safety standardization and upgrading to drive the continuous improvement of safety management level, improve conditions of work safety by identifying, eliminating and treating safety hazards, gain the foothold by not disturbing residents and not harming the public interests, do a good job in work safety and practically achieve the goal of “zero accident, zero harm, zero pollution” at the same time when developing the Company.
