On the morning of Jan. 30, Mr. Lu Dong, Mr. Chen Xiaobo, Mr. Brian Ablett, Mr. Nouraddin A. Yousuf ,Mr. Yang Hongbin, Mr. Liu Yanchang and other leaders of the Company came to the front line to see the employees who were still working on their posts during the Spring Festival; the leaders extended their New Year wishes to the employees.

The leaders came to the PQC first and offered their New Year blessing to the employees. At the FF Detachment of HSE Department, the leaders conveyed their New Year’s greetings to all the firemen and officers who were still working on the front line to guarantee the company’s safety during the Spring Festival, and hoped that everybody could practice hard to ensure safe production of the company and make more contributions in the new year.

In the central control room of the old plant area, the leaders of the company shaked hands with the employees who remained at their posts, and extended their New Year’s wishes to everybody. President Lu Dong said “The year 2013 was an extraordinary time that the company faced the most challenges, pressures and difficulties in the recent years. Centering on the ‘five KFAs’ and giving priority to work, the whole company advanced despite difficulties, spared no efforts to cope with tough situation in a scientific manner, adjusted the operating strategies in time, strived to improve the operational management, and well organized the turnaround and revamping; on this basis, we have achieved various goals and tasks which were set at the beginning of the year.” He hoped that all the employees could exert the function of stock assets practically, take the reform management, benefit improvement and value creating as their working rules and behavioral habits in the new year by centering on the “five critical focus areas” continuously and taking the value-based thinking and benefit as the guide, so as to reverse the passive situation of losses comprehensively and lay a solid foundation to achieve the set goals of building the company into an Asia’s leading refinery & petrochemical integrated enterprise.

The leaders came to the central control room of the new plant area without a stop, offered their blessings to the employees, and expressed their thanks to everybody for their hard work and unremitting efforts to safe and stable production, ethylene debottleneck and turnaround in 2013. The leaders hoped that all the people make elaborate operation and keep safe, stable and long-term operation in the new year, while they should save the energy consumption positively, improve the technical and economic indicators, and increase the management level.

The leaders also came to the gasoline & diesel loading station, the new main substation building and Liyuwei terminal to convey their greetings to the frontline personnel. At every place, the leaders asked the employees about the production and living status in details, and expressed the greetings of Office of President of Party Committee of the Company to the employees.

The employees who remained at their posts during the Spring Festival expressed their great thanks to the leaders for their concern, and expressed that they would keep forging ahead and do a good job to ensure safe and stable production during the Spring Festival so as to make greater contributions to the company’s development.
