Lin Xu Presented Awards to Outstanding Teams of the 2025 Annual MSOI Competition
On March 18, the Company held the award ceremony for the 2025 MSOI Competition. Company leaders Lin Xu, Li Ji, and Tan Lay Koon attended the ceremony.
President Lin Xu of the Company presented awards to the winning teams and delivered a speech. He pointed out that the effective operation of the OIMS system is the key foundation for ensuring the Company's production and operational performance, while MSOI serves as a test of the implementation effectiveness of the OIMS system within teams. Through the competition performance, the Company has made progress over the past year in elements such as the OIMS 6.2 work permit, which is inseparable from the joint efforts of various departments and teams. He encouraged everyone to continue striving for even better results.
Lin Xu emphasized that leaders should continue to maintain their position, while those lagging behind should strive to catch up. All BTs should fully recognize the role of the competition results, clarify task objectives, stimulate internal motivation, and use the competition results as an important tool to evaluate work effectiveness, identify shortcomings and weaknesses, and improve work. They should engage in mutual exchange and learning, share experiences and practices, conduct self-inspections and self-corrections, further enhance team quality, standardize business processes, strengthen risk control, and promote the management level of the OIMS system to a new height, contributing to the Company's high-quality development.
The 2025 MSOI competition involved 10 elements, and was conducted through interviews, document reviews, and on-site verification. After validation, the effectiveness of each element's implementation has steadily improved, with notable progress in areas such as operational management, current operations, alarm management, and best practices for training.
After evaluation, the top three teams in the overall competition scores are EOEG BT, Olefin BT, and Terminal BT.
Moving forward, the MSOI review will focus on aspects such as the quality of operating procedures, high-risk operations, non-routine operations and abnormal incidents, and potential on-site injury risks, to better leverage the OIMS system. (Zhang Lei Lian Wennan)
