Joining Hands to Resolve Corporate Challenges, Government and Enterprise Unite for Development
On December 11, Vice President Haytham Zamzami visited Quanzhou Maritime Safety Administration to present a commemorative banner to Lin Wu, Deputy Director of the Administration, expressing the Company's deepest gratitude for the comprehensive support and efficient services provided during the compliant maritime transportation of light cracking feedstock.
This episode stands as a testament to successful government-enterprise collaboration in overcoming challenges. To enhance regional petrochemical industry chain coordination, the Company partnered with Gulei Petrochemical Company to pilot the "direct maritime supply of light cracking feedstock" initiative. This initiative not only facilitates raw material sharing and resource optimization between enterprises, resolving production and operational bottlenecks for both parties, but also pioneers new pathways for synergistic development as well as improvement and upgrading of Fujian's petrochemical industrial chain.
During the project advancement process, the maritime classification of light cracking feedstock emerged as a major stumbling block. Without resolution, it would impact the compliance of product maritime transportation.
For a time, the project's progress came to a standstill. Just as the Company found itself at an impasse, the Quanzhou Maritime Safety Administration, upon learning of the situation, promptly addressed the Company's urgent needs and alleviated its difficulties. They proactively extended their services, gained a thorough understanding of the circumstances, and actively promoted problem resolution to help the Company overcome its challenges.
On one hand, the Quanzhou Maritime Safety Administration actively reported the situation to higher authorities and collaborated on formulating solutions to resolve the difficulties. On the other hand, they took the initiative to facilitate connections, assisting the Company in liaising with the Dalian Dangerous Goods Transportation Research Center under the National Maritime Safety Administration to explore long-acting technical solutions.
Through the diligent coordination and vigorous promotion by the Quanzhou Maritime Safety Administration, the "Fujian Petrochemical Enterprises Alliance for Maritime Transport" was officially established in March of this year, incorporating the innovation of regulatory practices for maritime transport of new petrochemical products as a key research subject. The application for the assessment of light cracking feedstock classification was successfully accepted. After undergoing a series of processes, including expert panel reviews, the Dalian Dangerous Goods Transportation Research Center officially issued an assessment report in November, granting the "maritime transport permit" for light cracking feedstocks.
From the emergence of challenges to their successful resolution, Quanzhou Maritime Safety Administration has consistently prioritized corporate concerns with pragmatic efficiency. Through professional guidance, proactive services, and robust coordination, it has removed developmental barriers for the Company, fostering a profound sense of warmth and inspiration. This vividly exemplifies the government-enterprise synergy and a mutually reinforcing business environment.
Moving forward, the Company will steadfastly uphold the bottom line of safe production and operation, strictly comply with regulatory requirements, and continue contributing to the high-quality development of Fujian's petrochemical industry through more standardized operations and better performance.
