Life's autumn can be a golden time, rich with hues of its own. On December 29, the Company held the 2025 Retirement Employee Forum. Company leaders Lin Xu, Yang Fei, and Li Ji gathered together with the retired employees, recalling the past, discussing changes, and talking about both the Company's development and the employees' retirement lives. The forum was chaired by Wang Hong, GM of HR&A Dept.

Acting President Lin Xu expressed gratitude to the retired employees on behalf of the Company for their contributions to the Company's development during employment. He said that through decades of trials and hardships, everyone selflessly devoted their most precious youth to the petrochemical cause, standing with the Company through thick and thin, and building a barren land into a modern refining and chemical base. They are witnesses to the Company's development process, as well as founders, pioneers, and guardians.

Lin Xu pointed out that during the Company's TA/Revamp in 2024, everyone took proactive roles and participated throughout the entire process, effectively ensuring the smooth progress of all links and serving as a central pillar. At the initial stage of the unit commissioning in 2025, with precise analysis and calm responses, we successfully tackled challenges one after another, providing solid support for the safe and stable operation of the units.

Lin Xu pointed out that the Company is currently at a critical phase of transitional development of the “15th Five-Year Plan,” facing a series of opportunities and challenges such as industrial structure optimization and green, low-carbon upgrades. He hoped that while retired employeesenjoying retirement, they could actively offer valuable advice in areas such as strategic planning, technological innovation, and talent cultivation, continuing to contribute their wisdom and expertise to the Company's development.

Lin Xu hoped that retired employees can embrace the beauty of life with a more optimistic mindset and continue writing wonderful chapters of their lives in the years to come. The Company will continue to care for the lives and health of retired employees, and provide support and assistance within its capabilities.

Retired employee representatives Shi Shan and Yang Jinshi expressed their gratitude to the company’s leaders for their care and support, and each recalled the wonderful moments of their decades-long careers. They are proud and honored to be part of Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company (FREP). They stated that although they have retired, their hearts remain with the company.They will continue to care about its development and wish it sustained growth and greater prosperity.

Dong Jianlan, retired volunteer representative of the Company, provided a general introduction to the activities and welcomed retired employees to actively participate in the activities to enrich their retirement life.

Company leaders presented the retired employees with commemorative gifts and took a group photo with them to mark the occasion.

At the forum, the retired employees gathered together, chatting and reminiscing about their dedicated years at the Company. Every word has shown nostalgia for the cherished memories, and each sentence conveyed their deep reluctance to part with the Company's leaders and colleagues. They also expressed their heartfelt wishes for the Company's thriving success and continued brilliance. They unanimously expressed their heartfelt gratitude for hosting such an unforgettable retirement ceremony, describing it as very warm and touching, and assured that they would continue to support the Company’s development as always.
