The autumn sky is clear and the air is crisp, with heady fragrance of laurel blossoms wafted through the fresh air. On October 29, a student grant donation ceremony was held at the Management Committee of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park.

At the ceremony,Mr. Meshal Kharboush, Vice President of Aramco Asia South China Portfolios Management Mr. Meshal Kharboush and General Manager of Aramco Asia Xiamen Branch, represented Saudi Aramco in donating 520K RMB in charitable student grant to the Quangang District Education Development Foundation.

Yang Fengxiang, District Governor of Quangang District People's Government, presented a commemorative plaque inscribed with "Devotion to Education, Boundless Benevolence" in return.

Lin Xu, Acting President, Vice President Haytham Zamzami of the Company, and Chen Shalong, Director of the Management Committee of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, jointly witnessed this heartwarming moment.

During the discussion, Mr. Meshal Kharboush stated that Saudi Aramco values its cooperation with China. Through its investment and operation of Fujian Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited in Quangang District, the Saudi Aramco has forged a profound friendship with the local community. Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Saleh Zaid, who previously worked at FREP, were awarded the Chinese Government Friendship Award. Moving forward, Aramco will collaborate with relevant shareholders to advance FREP's continuous development and contribute to Quangang's high-quality growth.

Mr. Meshal Kharboush fondly recalled his deep connection and interactions with Quangang District, with memories of his internship days still vivid in his mind. He noted that over the past two decades, Quangang has undergone earth-shaking transformations with rapid development, becoming both larger and more beautiful. Saudi Aramco will continue to focus on the advancement of education in Quangang District, fostering deeper collaborations to cultivate more outstanding students.

Lin Xu stated that FREP has taken root in Quangang, dedicating itself to its core business. While achieving steady growth, the Company has actively fulfilled its social responsibilities alongside its shareholders, participating in initiatives such as the “West Strait Spring Rain Action”, “Golden Autumn Student Aid”, and “Building Better Communities Together” donation campaigns. It also established the FREP Vision Restoration Fund, supporting health, education, sports, and charitable causes of the community through concrete actions, demonstrating its sense of responsibility and commitment. This time, our shareholders have jointly participated in the charitable donation initiative to collectively promote the development of education in Quangang.

Yang Fengxiang expressed heartfelt gratitude for the generous donations from Saudi Aramco. He remarked that from a single petrochemical industrial zone to an integrated industrial and urban new city, today's Quangang has seen a leap in the energy level of its industrial clusters and continuous improvement in supporting facilities, laying a solid foundation for corporate development and talent aggregation. Quangang District will consistently uphold the development philosophy of openness, cooperation, and mutual benefit, further deepening strategic collaboration with Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited across multiple fields to achieve coordinated government-enterprise development and shared success.
